FFS.
I used to ridicule the left as the exclusive domain of performative and disingenuous pols preying on useful idiots.
This post is not even a comment on Trump himself. It’s about the complete futility and pure symbolism of a bill like this and how unserious our “leaders” really are.

It’s pretty wild that there’s an airport named after notorious spook JF Dulles.

I think it’s great! I think we need to name
The next aircraft carrier after President Trump as well!

Can always count on Congress to tackle the tough issues that most Americans actually care about.

From the link:
Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, a Pennsylvania Republican and the majority chief deputy whip, introduced the bill on Friday. It has six GOP co-sponsors so far — Reps. Michael Waltz of Florida, Andy Ogles of Tennessee, Charles Fleischmann of Tennessee, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Barry Moore of Alabama and Troy Nehls of Texas.
Moore and Nehls voted against Ukraine aid when it first got done some time ago. The rest voted for Ukraine aid.

Not as good as a "Joseph R Biden Sewage Treatment Facility" complete with commemorative statute would be.
The plaque could read "In honor of Biden astute and fit, Except in fact he is full of shite"
I bet you could coax him into showing up for the ribbon cutting. Think of the chocolate ice cream photo opportunity.

Isn't Dulles the very same guy who JFK fired from the CIA? So after JFK had the top of his head blown, skull fragments that bounced on the trunk towards the direction of the "claimed" shooter, a guy named Allen W. Dulles was selected to serve on the Warren Commision that investigated the Assassination of JFK?
Is that the same guy? If so, wowza!!

Allen was the one who was on the Warren commission in charge of finding the real killer of JFK.
Can't make it up.

Gerald Ford also served on the commission.
A young Philadelphia attorney named Arlen Specter cooked up the magic bullet theory.
Hale Boggs was on the Warren Commission but dissented from the lone shooter theory. His plane disappeared over Alaska after a campaign staffer named William Jefferson Clinton dropped him off at the airport.
