I want Mary gone, but as of now Begich does not have 50% of vote with an estimated 17, 218 votes still possible to come in by the 20th. If this holds then the stupid rank choice crap comes in. Rank choice is how we got stuck with Murkowski again. At the moment though it looks like rank choice is going away for next election.

Rough stuff. Now that Republicans are in full control, when will a law be enacted which raises Social Security eligibility age to 70 and privatizes the plan?

When do they start packing the courts?

Look at a red / blue map of the country. The "reds" dominated. That's a landslide to most folks. And have not seen any recent numbers but the last I've seen has Trump winning the popular vote by 5,000,000. In any other context, that's a landslide, too.

Look I voted Trump in the last three elections. I believe there are men and women. You can’t just make things up and change sexes.

Trump’s win is stunning. He is going to run the popular vote. He won all the swing states. He got the second highest vote total ever, but this by definition is not a landslide.

And if people are confident that in 2028 we are going to win need to think twice because there is no room for error. It very close in the HOR and the Senate. Trump is getting close to half the vote, and he is an extraordinary candidate. He gets people to turnout.

The Republicans need to build on this win and that means following Trump’s leadership and not looking like a bunch of clowns.

I agree and it must start with voter ID requirements and a hard line of when to cut off count votes!

Yea but most of the people live in the blue areas, mostly near the coasts. The huge land area which is red is largely unpopulated or rural

It looks like the Republicans will end up with 221.

Interesting. I posted a week or so ago that I'd heard some TX congressman on Beck's radio show saying that 221 was the most likely number. Said they were pretty confident. I guess they had their internal poling right this time.

Probably should've been more, but I'm happy to take the W. No excuses for the GOP this time.

Acres don’t vote, people do. The color of a map is a lame device. Who cares how a giant Utah desert voted?

And if you think Trump won by 5 million, I don’t know what to tell you, except it’s less than half of that.

Yep.

The Census Bureau stole about 15 seats.

In 2030 Republicans should be in an amazing place. They should get those seats and because of the mass exodus of California and New York over the past couple of years they should pick up more than that in the Red States. If Trump disperses Federal employees out of DC Virginia likely becomes on play as well.

Yeah, Trump wins a landslide and the popular vote but barely has the house and senate. That only happens with cheating. Dumping 100k votes at 4am that go 90% for Democrats

Has there been any election modernization/audit plans for the administration? If we're going to eradicate cheating, it needs to happen literally right now. Uncover whatever was happening to close that avenue to ever use in the future.

You should get mad and burn your house down. That’ll fix those evil Republicans!

While there are a lot of shenanigans with ballots still being counted Trump is a political anomaly. A lot of Trump voters are normal Democrat voters so it's not surprising that Trump does better than Republican Senate/House candidates.

You're quibbling over the definition of landslide to soothe your aching TDS. Nearly every single county in the country shifted red. It was the most dominant performance by any Republican in 40 years. But if not calling it a landslide makes you feel better, then knock yourself out. Rational people know the truth.

Actually you are wrong.

Why make up stuff that isn’t true? Ttump had a great win, there is no need to invent stuff.

Since a ton of Dems thought this was a good idea recently, I hope Trump takes their advice and start working on that Day ONE!

Stupid Dems thought the nuclear option was a great idea when they were in power, that one bit them on the arse in a big way!
