Was Clay Higgins one of the Republicans to block the extension?

Did he vote to extend in 2018?

Yes. Saw it in my link I posted on page 1.

I don't know what he did this time, though. I don't have a roll call on it.

Antifa liberals and Bill Kristol/Ben Shapiro conservatives will not like this at all.

Applaud them when they do something right and boo them when they do something wrong.

While I applaud this, the intelligence community wasn’t following the law before this. They will continue to abuse the public and our Constitution until they are made an example of.

But overall you wanted him in there so he would do next to nothing.

Exactly. Gridlock is a good thing with this current congress.

Nothing but pork and window dressing with some nice perks for politicians like being "tipped off" if their name comes up, in this proposed FISA extension.

And it's not like anyone with a brain thinks the three-letter agencies won't continue to illegally spy and surveil without warrants anyway. I mean, who do they actually answer to when they break their own rules? Why, themselves, of course!

I am just surprised that the Democrats didn't vote to pass it. They enjoy government tyranny more than anyone, unless they are afraid that Trump will use it against them and their allies....

Yes. Higgins was one of the 19 (R)s that opposed the bill.

MTG actually voted with the majority and was not one of the 19 to oppose.

No, it was a Dems that tanked it, because they refused to pass the FISA 702 that mandated a Warrant to spy on American Citizens instead of going to te SECRET D.C. courts who approved the BS spying on Trump in 2016. IMHO, all those judges should be in jail along with all those punk FBI and CIA agents.

You can not give LEFT WING LOONS this kind of power, they are authoritarians in nature. And evil to boot.
