The way he's portraying the girl, it wouldn't surprise me if he believes she jumped in front of the car to commit suicide because she was so disgusted with herself.

How is that any more ridiculous than your "grab a rope" mentality?

I don’t have time to read all the replies, and I didn’t see it in the article I read. How drunk were the males?

Only thing I saw was a commenter saying we don't know how drunk they were because they weren't checked. True or false, I don't know.

I struggle to understand how being drunk excuses one party’s actions but not the others.

I don't think drunken sex is rape

I'll give you that there is a subjective gray area in the "drunken sex" debate that has been a huge issue, but this situation is so far out of the grey and into the black that no decent human can even reasonably make an argument that she got what she asked for.

How much does the 4 versus 1 situation come into play in your mind?

Because she ended up dead. Which sensationalizes it, but in no way impacts the actual sex that occurred, consensual or not.

The tragedy that happened after the rape is very sad but not directly related to the rape.

Is the rape not a tragedy? We should have the president give these guys a Medal of Freedom then.

Are you implying women never act slutty? Or you don't want to imagine the pretty white woman might have wanted to be in that car?

Youre assuming she was.

It's a ridiculous comment, because I'm trying to demonstrate that your logic is silly at best.

Actions have consequences. That's true. It's just ridiculous to portray her as a trashy kid, cruising for dick. When really she just made a mistake. Should it have cost her life? No.

Let's just assume that at worst, she had passed out in a pool of her own vomit and slept it off. Woke up, cleaned herself off, and learned a lesson. That's what should have happened.

Unfortunately, she met with some rapists that took advantage of her, and then dumped her on the side of the road like a used sex doll. That's the difference.

Key word being a “decent” human.

This is victim blaming on steroids.

I'm not assuming anything. Trying to figure out how it's relevant.

Firstly, that gif is hilarious.

However, I hope you get the point. .32 is definitely all sorts of fricked up, but so could .15 or .20. For some people.

Other functioning alcoholics are fine at .220.

I quoted you. VERBATIM. Unless you misspoke, women being treated differently under the law was your beef. Did you misspeak?

I don't think picking a drunk girl up at a bar is rape
Picking her up is absolutely not rape.
Screwing an incapacitated person is rape.

The point of "twisting the knife" in my previous post is your pick up artist only knows the girl is cognitively and coordinatively disabled. He doesn't know why. Does she have a medical condition? Was she slipped a hit of Rohypnol? Or is she drunk?

For your artist on a pick-up poontang mission, he doesn't care why she is disabled as long he dips his wick.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised you didn't pick up on what I was getting at, but I'll begrudgingly keep playing anyway.

To make the 'well they were BOTH incoherently drunk and didn't really know what they were doing' assumption you have to assume that for FOUR individuals (NONE of them were coherent enough to really have consent for what they were doing) versus just the ONE girl.

It just seems at least a bit less logical (reasonable?) to me. Not to you?
