I would also say we cannot allow right-wing progressives (oh, they do exist) to turn our country into a right-winged dictatorship. Not that we are in danger of that, but the pendulum always swings. I fear where it may swing next. The Dems are played. Their BS is in the light and most want nothing to do with it. Hopefully there are enough old school, small government conservatives and libertarians left when the dust settles to keep the right in check. From the hardcore GOP dudes here, I do not think so. Too many cries for "there should be a law".

The CARES act also had an impact on inflation. Sane people understand that actions taken in 2020 also had an impact on inflation. And yes Biden is culpable for contributing to inflation. To pretend that Trump has zero responsibility is to live in a fictional world. He even wanted his name on the stimulus checks. Pretending that nothing in 2020 had an influence on inflation is the pinnacle of human stupidity.

The exact same gas station right by my house got up to $5.59/gallon under Harris. I just passed by the exact same gas station and it is currently $2.17 - the other day it was $2.09!

I agree although I place more blame on Biden for not coming into office and immediately dumping more (and more wasteful) gas on the fire without taking the time to evaluate whether a fire had started. Also for being slow on the draw of recognizing and working on the supply chain issues coming out (but judg judg was a disaster during this time).
And only one of them regularly lied about the nature of the inflation, and spent time talking about shrinking Snickers bars and junk fees.
