I was one of them. As I stated on this board a week or so ago, she was the most beatable Democrat. Wisconsin has an open primary. As stated in the other thread about this race, there weren’t too many very few contested GOP primaries. Her total vote count was bolstered by those of us who crossed over and voted for her yesterday and would not be voting for her in November.

I think everyone keeps ignoring that millennials are becoming largely disenchanted. Millennials are 40 now.
They want people focused on home and instead the person elected to do that got us tangled up in Iran.
They aren’t the youth vote anymore. They are middle aged.
Then add in that the youth vote defaults left it’s a problem.

Hong was hurt by the timing. If this was in September as opposed to August, she would have been able to have her acolytes round up students from the UW-System dorms and march those little queer lemmings to the polls to vote for her.
Although this will be a tougher race for Tiffany, I still think he wins. The excitement for Crowley is non-existent. A bunch of the DSA simps will sit this out, if some of my former colleagues in academia who support Hong have been threatening.

Not really. Hong doesn’t do much for the down ballot candidates. Crowley can. I don’t know if he will but his ceiling in carrying those dem candidates across the finish line is much higher than Hong’s.
So instead of a Madison communist the rest of the state outside of Dane and Milwaukee counties are given the option of voting for a tongue tied black Milwaukee liberal.

Not really, lot of uninformed older independents and non-extremist Democrats up there. Reading a recent article where an elder couple were convinced by their 18 year-old dimwit grandson to vote for Hong. What does it matter, generally these recounts just go to validate the number before the recount.....despite what our resident board conspiracy types would have you think, American elections are pretty damn secure and valid.....and counted correctly.
