Did you support people losing jobs over refusing the jab?
Yeah, I wrestled with this too. In some settings, like ICU nurses or military units, the stakes felt high enough that vaccine mandates made sense, not as punishment, but as part of protecting vulnerable people or keeping essential systems running, but I also think we made big mistakes in how it was rolled out. A lot of leaders treated it like a political showdown instead of a chance to build trust. That top-down, no-room-for-doubt approach backfired and it hardened people’s resistance and made public health feel like politics. I don’t think we win people over that way. So I get the pushback. I don’t regret caring about safety, but I do think we could’ve handled the conversation with a lot more humility and respect.

So where was it? We're studies conducted? If so What kind of studies and what did peer review determine about them? Any reputable doctors or scientists backing him?

Yeah I went until Thursday get the shot or get fired
Friday they said nevermind.

Never took the jab to this day

Never got the dreaded death flu.

So never took kickbacks direct or indirect from pharma?

Maybe you think I’m nuts but I’ll listen to my doctors like a sane adult.

Having worked with doctors for over 31 years I can tell you quite a few of them are not sane adults.

It doesn't hurt to be cautious.

If you were serious, I could engage... SFP has already spent my allotted time tilting at windmills today.

Yeah, I think this is more in the right direction, and I don't know this honestly, but parents and people are bad at following up and the newborn period and I suspect it's just a convenient time to do health interventions before kids have a chance to fall through the cracks. Have you asked this of your kid's pediatrician? I'm not one and they probably have a better answer than me.

I am serious. I've listened to RFK but found him to be consistently full of crap. If there's some legitimate source of info he has though that he is just poorly parroting that shows a real connection and danger to vaccines I would in fact want to know.

If you can't deal with SFP for a few hours how can we expect you to spend a decade researching anything?

Your old family doctor is misinformed. It’s against the law for a doctor to take a kickback. Why risk losing your license.

Well why not just let the vulnerable take the mRNA shots? If it works they will be protected. If it doesn't work then me taking the shot isn't going to help.

Not unless pens and lobster are kickbacks.

I'm not saying pharma doesn't have a problematic influence - but it's a mixed influence and if people are gonna start going back to pre-vaccination public health we are going to be in a fricking world of hurt.

shite, MMR is the worst one. Stay away from the combo shots.

My 9 month old has not had a single shot. Don't know if we'll end up giving her some but not until a year when the liner around her brain is fully developed and has resistance to all the aluminum they put in these shots.

no gotcha here, but "work" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that question. What do you think it means for a vaccine to work? (it can mean a lot of things, by the way).

Exactly. RFK's antivaccine zealotry is not only crazy and dangerous, it's clearly antiscience.

Not to mention all the chemicals and potential toxins and carcinogens in processed foods.
