These arguments are getting very close to Obama's "you didn't build that" comment.
So these mega corporations are given great deals and tax cuts by governments with the incentive that they are providing a public good. Should a private toll road like the skyway in Chicago be allowed to deny service to certain vehicles?
If we are going to pick and choose how to apply all this legislation (ADA, Civil Rights, Hipaa, OSHA) then just get rid of it all. But as of now, these laws only seem to be used as clubs against people of one political ideology.

I’ve had to produce shot records for multiple daycares for my kiddos over the years.
In Arkansas, my parents had to do this and I've had to do it for my kids and even had to obtain a copy of my grandson's for my son and take to his school.
The vaccine card just has name and DOB listed on it. Then the info of the 2 shots given. That's it. I've had my shot since Dec 2020 and not been asked once about it.

HIPAA (not HIPPA) applies only to those who provide medical services, in the broad sense.
Or stores medical records or uses medical records.
A school that accidentally disclosed PHI would be subject to HIPAA penalties just like a doctor’s office would be.

I'm just pointing it out that this board freaked over that comment not long ago and now the same argument seems to be in vogue here.
It seems like principle is also out of style. Ends justify the means. I guess maybe the posters here changed, I don't know.

I'm not agreeing with the vaccine card stuff, just answering op's question.

I think many people are realizing two things.
1) our system is closer to crony capitalism than capitalism and crony capitalism is closer to socialism than capitalism.
2) these mega corporations are not on “our side” and there’s no use campaigning for removing government burdens on them when they’re actively involved in the destruction of traditional America

So can I deny someone because they are in a wheelchair? ADA says otherwise, shouldn't be any different than someone unvaccinated.

I am currently handling a case where an employee who was terminated filed an EEOC claim and one off the allegations was that the employer disclosed to employees that he had covid in violation of HIPAA
It’s a gray area that can be argued is not a violation
Also arguing that he was denied special accommodation to work from home.
Anyway, Hipaa applies in workforce. I’m sure if a company required a card it would have so many lawsuits. Also, FL prohibits!

No it's been repealed due to Covid.

As long as vaccination rates in the African American demographic lag, the progressive government isn’t going to push a vaccine card requirement.
They might try to figure a way to make whites get it and exempt blacks from the requirement. We are about to that level of clown world.

Nope.

You’re probably right. There’s other state and sometimes federal laws that would govern in the situation. But they have to keep health information confidential in most cases.

Why do people think these vaccines are one and done? This is going to be like the flu, but you will need a shot every X years
