Burton was a minor at the time?

I agree, I just think this whole Weinstein thing is going to unveil alot of skeletons in the closet.

Equating this to Weinstein totally understates Weinstein's actions. He's a sexual predator.

Affleck, in this case, basically acted like a rich man's Zack Mettengerger.

She was 20 or 21, but she identified as a kid, so, I guess so.

Uh, ya. Sexual assault.

So rich men are expected to act like this/get a pass?

I remember when one of the Corey's died how the other Corey was saying Hollywood was filled with these high placed executives and a-list actors and actresses that pull this shite all the time. As the OP stated, the dominoes are starting to fall #mor winning

No one gave Feldman any credence, hopefully that will change.

Are all hardcore libs just projecting, trying to cover up the guilt they have for their own sins, because it sure seems that way more and more everyday.

The danger here is the false equivalence to Weinstein's actions.

Agreed - if anyone looking at a girl in a short skirt, or drunk Affleck tweaking a boob at spring break is equated with Weinstein's conduct, then it's classic moral equivalence - done to defend the most atrocious conduct.

I don't think this is true - but the way Hollywood works - and his and Haim's refusal to straight up name names hurt any sort of efforts to move forward.

"I've been abused, but I can't tell you who it was."

Well, then, I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

He was drunk, working the mic on a Spring Break MTV show. She was an "up and comer" (never ended up doing much) that, I must assume, wanted a little bit of attention on MTV's youth oriented show (NVM - apparently she was the co-host - so she should have felt even more empowered to call him out if he crossed the line - I mean, this was 2003 - he was just Matt Damon's sidekick back then).

Your assessment appears very correct, however....

If BA was an R or Conservative, this would be a HUGE deal right now.

Let's see what his Proggy Priv allows him to get away with.

Correct but yet fricking around on your spouse is totally legal. That has confused me for a long time.

In Feldman's case it would be throwing away what little chance he had at a career away,a situation so many people in that industry are put in.

Perhaps the Federal Government and US Armed Forces should stop classifying actions such as Affleck's as 'sexual assault' when publishing statistics.
