Actually, in Louisiana it's battery.

She was on One Tree Hill. My GF at the time was fricking looney over that show.

My 40 year old wife still loves that show. She has every season on DVD.

I think what is more damning is Rose McGowan's revelation that Affleck has known about Weinstein for years....so his recent condemnation is kinda hollow or too little, too late.

It was suspect how he condemned it so quickly.

I agree with this - everyone who made money on Miramax - certainly outside the Python troupe - is suspect and the entire enterprise will be forever tainted with this scandal.

With as valuable as that brand was, I suspect it will get a rename job sooner rather than later - possibly as early as this year, but certainly before the end of 2018 (depending on production schedules, contract requirements, etc.)

That's how bad this is for folks like: Damon, Affleck, Tarantino, Kevin Smith, and scores of others.

It would seem the better course would have been to remain silent.

Kevin Smith’s career may as well be snuffed out by this.

He’s pretty much down to Z-grade films like Tusk because all his mainstream Hollywood movies bombed. The only stuff that succeeded was the View Askew-niverse that was largely distributed by Miramax.

Affleck and Damon will survive but they will take a hit.

Tarantino will be just fine as long as he keeps making money and/or winning awards.

just think this whole Weinstein thing is going to unveil alot of skeletons in the closet.
Grabbing a hot chick's titties on the beach isn't much of skeleton in my book.

I'm not necessarily focused on their careers, but that's part of it.

I'm talking about reputation - and I do think Damon will have to work hard, because he probably has the most to lose (he's not a writer/director/producer in the same way as Affleck), although Affleck is right there.

For Tarantino's part, he had kind of a sleazy reputation, too, although it did not appear criminal or certainly not on the Weinstein level. And, I think he's sliding into retirement, too - at least from active film development where he is "the" guy. I know he's shooting a Manson family film next year. But, beyond that, he's mid-50s and his style is more for a young man, IMHO.

But all of them are taking irreparable reputation hits. Polanski-level - worse than Woody Allen, for example.

So... people all of a sudden aren't going to go see Justice League? I highly doubt that.

He's a foot rapist. LINK

So, kinky, yet consensual, acts constitute rape?

What am I missing?
