This really would be the ultimate knife in the back and a definitive end of Trump/MAGA. Especially on the heels of the Epstein betrayal. I don't think Trump is this stupid so I'm going to hold my melt for now.
I doubt it. While it will cost him some support, most MAGA supporters have deified Trump to a level beyond question. As mentioned before, it is the stupidity behind the 40D chess comments.
They will just find some random and supported justification of why it was brilliant and not the opposite of what he promised.

He’ll eventually do it, justify it was to not crater the economy before the midterms, get the influencers to start the spin for that position, and 60% of you guys will come around and defend his position wholeheartedly.

quote:And his legacy will be amnesty for millions.
Trump is obsessed with his legacy.
Reagan did the same thing.
He gets to be Reagan 2.0.
If he does this, he is a retard of the highest order.
The exact same thing that occurred after Reagan will occur again.
It will make zero difference and the cycle will simply repeat.
Trump is becoming a joke.

100% truth.
It is maddening.
The SDV and Private Pyle types will try to spin it and justify it.

I think we can all at least agree that trying to deport every single illegal alien while glossing over the option of levying penalties on orgs that employ them was already biting a moneyed interest bullet from the very start.

I think it's called "bargaining" in the 5 stages of grief.

Let's see if Trump follows the Ronald Reagan gameplan or if he sticks to his guns.

No, it’s just a statement of fact & a bit obvious that if you really want to go scorched earth and get dramatic results on illegal immigration then that should’ve been part of the plan.
It would be an extremely effective strategy. Why do you think it wasn’t? I’ll tell you why.
Because you don’t want to alienate powerful moneyed interests & people liable to donate / vote toward your campaign.
Think about it. Give me a good reason not to penalize the employers that isn’t some version of what I just said.

Put me in the 40% then because if he does amnesty he's lost me. Considering he doesn't have to worry about reelection I'm sure he wouldn't give a damn if I like it or not however

Gonna be honest. Don’t care what religion or color you are & that’s completely independent of whether someone is here legally or not.
But you do you.

So you want to the whole nation to be another California.
Got it.
