Not sure the US owes a duty or (if there is a duty) that $450k is not far too high a figure, but it does not apoear likely to apply to many people.

I'm 1099 and I'm seriously considering not paying my taxes anymore. When they come to arrest me and seperate me from my children, how much money are my children going to get? It might be worth it. My kids get $450K each, I end up in a white collar prison for awhile.....

My brother got arrested for a misdemeanor last year while he and his son were in Target. They had to send the kid to be held by CPS temporarily because his mother was out of state. How much can my brother get?
