Hesbollah Drones Successfully Targeted Iron Dome and Then 4 Israeli Soldiers at the site

I've been keeping an eye on the footage out of Lebanon and Israeli infantry, tanks and IFVs has been getting hit with those basic 7" FPV drones quite regularly now. Now it's their iron dome that came under attack, apparently successfully so.
Btw, none of Israeli armor has any stand off grill/cage protection from drones like Russia and Ukraine utilize, which makes it susceptible to and RPG warhead from top down attack(or any attack really). The hobby 7'' FPV is simple enough that even Hesbollah fighters can strap an IED or RPG round to it with zip ties with a door limit switch or a coiled wire short tied to a 9V battery.
Every major military in the world seems unable to readily adapt to the basic consumer drone/warhead combination. Or a drone/starlink combination. All over the counter, all easily assembled even by a rag tag groups.

eh, only because the major militaries refuse to use their full force all in. if it really became a true problem it could be solved quickly but violently

They're paying the cost in blood now, which Israel hates to do. I assume most of their offensive forces are contract mercs, but who knows what the exact makeup is.
What I do know is that it's not expensive to finance insurgency with analog FPV drones and RPG warheads/IEDs.

Do we or have the defense manufacturers not figured out how to bill us a million dollars a tank for chicken wire and aluminum tubing?

Now is not the time to lose Iron Dome. It looks like the war may start up again very very soon. Iran shot a a ship and hit it with an unknown projectile last night. They also shot drones at the UAE and Kuwait.
Fox had Trey Yingst on this morning. I missed some of his report but he was saying something about Iran has responded to the 14 point offer through Pakistan. I think he said that the details were sketchy but Iran didn’t mention anything about its nuke program in the response. Like I said I missed some of the report and I’m just now sitting down so I have not looked into it yet. Looks like these fools want to fight. Israel better get Iron Dome up and running quickly if it was damaged because it looks like it’s about to be really busy again.

To a degree. But you can't just bomb and kill everyone without putting your own legitimacy and civility in question. It's no longer WW2 style bomb air raids where you can level a city with everyone in it without much outcry. This is why Russia is bogged down in Ukraine. They could level Kiev and other major town causing panic and chaos but that would create an impossible negative PR to deal with.

Btw, this doesn't make them immune to and EFP(explosive formed penetator) charges or RPG/bazooka shaped charges. It just improves survivability by creating a separation/standoff from explosion and make molten jet coming out take longer to travel and possibly miss/break up. It's not full proof by any means.

Russia isn’t worried about public relations. They have hit a lot of civilian targets in Ukraine. They have hit apartment buildings and plenty of other places that have no military value. They could care less what they hit really and how many civilians they kill. Hell I think they have hit hospitals. Bad PR isn’t a worry for Putin.
I get what you are saying overall about Israel bombing Lebanon to Hell. The problem is though that is the only way you can fight terrorists. They dig in and put key infrastructure and weapons systems in civilian areas specifically to cause high civilian casualties. It’s terrible but bombing a city full of terrorists into dust is the only way to root them out. Fighting in an urban warfare environment without using airpower and heavy artillery would be asking ground troops to commit suicide. It would take the IDF 3 times as long to clear a city and cost them 3times the casualties. Fighting terrorists from town to town, village to village, and large city to large city without air power and other heavy weapons would put the IDF in such a meat grinder it could break them as a fighting force. Israel is not that big. They couldn’t sustain the losses suffered in Urban combat like Russia, China, or even the United States.

I wouldn't label them "terrorists" if they're Lebanese and fighting Israeli occupation. Militants/insurgents, but not terrorists. My mark for meeting "terrorism" definition is much higher.
You're applying utterly double standards for Israel and Russia because of the "terrain". Urban fighting for Russia in Ukraine is same if not harder than for Iraelis, yet they did it and continue doing it. They face a much better armed, better funded, more cunning and equally savage enemy who isn't afraid to play dirty and use civilians as shields.
If you compare civilian casualties Israel inflicted in Gaza to date to Russia's casualties in Ukraine, it becomes clear Russia is using a very careful almost "humane" approach to warfare at their own detriment, which is why Putin is not exactly beloved amongst Russian hardcore nationalists- they view him as too soft.

When he says “ Israel started this” he means they had the audacity to not commit National Suicide. Jews, you see, are not allowed to defend themselves, their ideas, their culture. They are supposed to just roll over on demand and be this kind of historical punching bag . So yeah, they “ started “ this.
