most posts supporting hershel are only interested in his dutiful vote as dictated by McConnell.
no one claims he could contribute in a committee with oversight on anything complex or vital.
as for this debate his campaign agreed to this because Herschel trails by 8 or 10 percent in polls.
back when it was margin of polling error there was no debate planned. this debate is the R Hail Mary and the authors of his zingers are trying out jokes right now.
he can memorize a pat reply in key issues.

Well no. I'm not interested in his vote. I'm interested in the absence of Warnock's vote. Democrats who tout "you're only voting for him because he's the R candidate" are ridiculous. Why yes, I'm voting for the guy who doesn't see my family as the enemy - radical, yeah?

I think it's an effort to temporarily fend off the narrative that Walker won't debate. Then you can see what happens for 2 months while Walker "prepares." If he closes the gap a bit, you can probably bail on it if needed. If it widens, you likely don't have too much to lose.
But hopefully they're preparing Herschel with a handful of really divisive shots to take. Can men get pregnant, etc. Make Warnock go on record.

I think Walker and Warnock are evenly matched in the debate mental wise. Plus both are used to being on camera and speaking in public as a result of their work life experience.
I think Walker has the edge over Warnock bc he’s just a more likable person, and a sports legend and that still stands for something. Both Walker and Warnock have equal amounts of personal baggage. Both are at equal risk of bombing a question.
For that reason whatever Uniparty leftist that the GOPe suggests, once approved by Fat Stacy - will be unable to ask either candidate anything that requires anything other than banal, memorized talking points. Everyone declares victory and the needle doesn’t move.
I have no confidence in the Georgia Political process to be anything other than fake and decisions made by ppl who are unidentified.
