I don’t agree with ACAB but those cops in the video certainly are.

I only watched up to where he fell on his arse.

He seemed drunk or on Xanax and vodka.

ETA he straightened up and didn't slur his words.

So I take this back but

Ok got it. Thanks.

SO was he wrong about the guy being a crook and not able to have his own opinion and right to vote on doing this or not? I guess I'm wondering what he said allowed him to be banned from the room.

My guess is they have some decorum rules which forbid calling someone corrupt without (or maybe even with) proof. I also wouldn't be surprised to find out the Speaker knew Moore was going to pipe up like that and drew him out on purpose just to "show him who's boss".

So full on there was shoving well before he hit the ground.

He raised objection to the corrupt Fani Willis scam case, rightfully so. And because of THAT, the GOP censured him?

This is similar energy to the UK PM allowing Muslim grape gangs to go unhindered or investigated.

Why is it ALWAYS one side placating and bending over to appease the worst of us, and never the other way around?

Erick Erickson thought so.

David Rolston died 12 days after stepping down from the Speakership.

On November 4, 2022, Ralston announced he would not seek another term as House speaker, citing health concerns.[37] He died 12 days later at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta

Can you imagine a US senator being locked out of a joint session or a State of the Union?

Not now but I'm surprised it didn't happen in the previous 4 years.

Moore got shoved down by a Sergeant of Arms (I think) and arrested by Troopers

This speaker fricked up and my guess is that he will end up paying dearly for this.

Pretty sure they were in the House chambers which the speaker banned Moore from. Problem is, they called a joint session which includes senators. Georgia has got problems. Texas too with their democrat running a republican held house.

Moore isn’t some guy that got elected and just shows up for votes. He chairs a committee and is assigned to 3 others. He is the Sec. of the Senate Transportation Committee. This could get rather interesting.

Senator Colton Moore was elected to the Georgia State
Senate in 2022. Sen Moore was elected to serve Georgia’s
53rd Senate District, which includes Dade, Catoosa, Walker
and Chattooga Counties along with a portion of Floyd
County.
Sen. Moore is Chairman of the Senate Committee on
Interstate Cooperation. He is also the Secretary of the
Senate Committee on Transportation. He is a member of
the Senate Committees on Higher Education and Natural
Resources and the Environment. Finally he is an Ex-Officio
member on the Senate Committee on Government
Oversight.
Sen. Moore graduated from the University of Georgia in
2016, double majoring in political science and international
relations. Following his Bachelor’s Degree, Colton has been
working alongside his father as a dump truck driver in his
families bulldozing and trucking business. Sen. Moore also
works as an auctioneer, becoming a top 20 finalist at the
International Auctioneers Championship.
At 24, Colton Moore became the youngest state
representative from Dade County by serving in the Georgia
House of Representatives from 2018 – 2022. During his
time, he served on the House Committees on Human
Relations and Aging, Motor Vehicles, and the State Planning and Community Affairs.

Moore should sue the House and State. Period. That's a slam dunk violation of his individual rights as well as a blatant, State-sanctioned effort to prevent him from carrying out the duties of the path he swore.

That's some serious bullshite.

I am not familiar at all with George's separation of power but I assume an argument will be made that the executive and judiciary not having any control what happens in the legislative branch including an arrest by Legislative police rather than Atlanta PD

Of course it could be a violation of this constitutional right so I'm very interested in our legal line of how this falls our

There is more to this story. Much more...

Former GA House speaker Ralston was a rotten speaker (his picture is in the dictionary under the definition of RINO). He was part of the Nathan Deal (former Governor) cabal (former D's that turned R to get elected but really remained D's).

That said, after former speaker Ralston passed away, he was being honored in the house last year. Ralston's family was in attendance for the ceremony.

Colton Moore is an opportunist. Always looking for attention. So, Moore stood up during the ceremony honoring Ralston and proceeded to condemn Ralston and said a number of very nasty things about the deceased former speaker. It was completely inappropriate. Yes, what he said was a real picture of the former speaker, however, it was not the time nor the place to make that outburst.

Moore was censured and thrown out of the Republican caucus in the Senate for basically being a horses *** for many, many different things. He has a difficult personality and is hard to deal with. He even made a number of really good strong, godly conservatives in the state senate mad for his antics. These senators are as MAGA as it gets, but Moore is even too much for them.

Moore was sent a letter last week reminding him that he was banned from going into the house chambers for his antics in the Ralston ceremony.

Instead of approaching the current house speaker (not as bad as Ralston but not as good as we would like) to see if he (Moore) could get grace to attend the State of the State speech, Moore decided to give himself an opportunity to make the first page of Foxnews.com and raise money. And it worked for him.
