Here is what johnson "touted" as a win in bill negotiations......

Johnson is running unopposed in November. I plan to vote Trump and leave down-ballot blank. I am so disappointed in Mike Johnson.

It’s it great how everyone with eyes and a functioning brain knows what the problem is, and has a pretty solid grasp on how to fix it, but the dumb fricks charged with making decisions would rather rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic instead… we don’t need more beds or judges or agents. We need to toss these mother frickers back over the fricking border from whence they came.

As a conservative I'm hoping the logic here is to not blow up the government and simply let Biden continue to circle the drain until the November election. Trump will win unless something major happens to move the needle, and I don't think the GOP should play around with a government shutdown so close to the finish line.
I'd rather lose this battle if it means winning the war.

Its as White Bear said above, they arent guarding the border, they are additional headcount to ensure MORE illegals can be processed faster and moved into the US. And to make it more humane we are adding additional B&Bs for them.
