I've never been and will never go. Nothing about that place interests me. I will happily take my quiet peaceful existence for the rest of my days without experiencing NYC, California, or Disney

Federal control of local elections is a big part as well as allowing more than those 800,000 illegals to vote just to start. Lots of other stuff but it’ll do you good to research since you’ve never even heard of it.

Same. My wife (no pics) worked out of NYC for ~15 years and had an apartment there. So glad she took her company's COVID buyout and has now swapped an apartment in Queens, NY for one in Germantown, TN.
I enjoyed going up there with her pre-COVID but as the city began backsliding under DeBlasio I enjoyed it less and less.
Footnote: TN is fricking BEAUTIFUL in the Fall.

I certainly do have children but it does not change the fact that you are a willing participant in this bullshite…. You know why Covid and all the hoops you willingly jump through is bullshite? If it wasn’t, you nor your kid would be in NYC today…
