I'm not a lawyer but I grew up in a family of lawyers. It means an appeal during the intermediate stages of the trial, I think.

For some reason, Trump makes him crazy. There are several like that here.
Trump doesn't "make me crazy". I just find it asinine that people still believe there is some play to be made about 2020.
I prefer DeSantis, but will likely be pulling the lever for Trump if that's what we have. I just don't think he's the best option for POTUS and that drives the sycophants irate.

Why should information about election interference be redacted and secret. This is the big problem with DC. The Secret Service could request a menu for a White House dinner party and it would be classified.
It's not about protecting our nation's national security, it's about protecting the ruling class from being held accountable for their actions.
Stuff like JFK's death, election interference, etc, they try to make the case that it's too controversial or emotionally charged to let the general public know what the truth is. In the meantime, the people who committed criminal acts go free because you can't convict someone if you can't present the evidence in court...

Don't lower yourself to trying to get into minute legal arguments with SloMo.
Especially when I explicitly said that this isn't my area (and OP is lacking)

I hope this wasn't directed towards me. I think RDS would make a great President and get more stuff accomplished than Trump. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it is meant to be.

I am pretty sure this is not "some play to be made about 2020". This is about providing proof for why Trump believed what he did. If it also somehow proves the election was not legit most are aware that it will have no bearing for some kind of redo or kick biden to the curb and install Trump moment.

We have two entities that had access and clearance to view classified information:
1. The president, and
2. attorneys in the National Security Division of the Department of Justice.
Jack's DC case as I understand it is based on mens rea. That is, Trump's state of mind. The fundamental point that Jack is trying to prove to make the charges stick in the DC case is that Trump knew the election was legit while questioning it.
By Trump presenting the classified information to the court that both Trump and NSD of the DOJ had access to prior to J6 where that information outlined an illegitimate election due to foreign actors it totally undercuts Jack's case.
The question that should be asked by the judge to Jack is if you knew this information why did you charge the president per the indictment. I'm sure Jack's response will be that his team were not privy to that classified information due to the nature of security levels and NSD DOJ silos.
We'll see.
