His personal religious beliefs should not be at forefront of US Military, he is in charge of Iran War and has no plan to get this war over but has time to advance Christian Nationalist ideology into Pentagon. Sorry but as a 26 yrs Military Veterans, fighting for American/Democratic values was reasons not religion, he is too involved in fighting a culture war instead of a real war which we are involved in currently

Think they'll get forgiven for blowing up elementary schools?
Thankfully not mine, but I can't forgive their religious zealotry who believe - death to all Christians.

The CCP doesn't really have this issue to impede their ambitions.
That's because they enslave and/or eliminate their impediments.

Interesting to wonder what the founding fathers would think of this.
Well this country was founded as a Christian nation despite efforts to hide and rewrite this truth.
Jesus himself says, ' I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me your can do nothing.' John 15:5
The further this country gets from God the more if resembles Sodom and Gomorrah.
NB4, What flavor of Christianity?
At this point it doesn't matter. Believe and place you trust in Jesus Christ. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Not surprising from a guy who says shite like this.
Some people kiss the wall. Some lean up against it and stick their butts out, waiting to get railed.

Having a Christian Zionist as the head of the military turned out not to be a great idea. CZs want to hasten the 2nd coming of Christ, and in their warped theology, that means for that to happen modern Israel has to conquer all the territory they used to rule. And they have to rebuild the temple. That would mean WWIII.

Office of Christian Zionist Affairs more likely

There have always been pastors, ministers, priests, rabbis etc. in the armed forces.

However, at the time of the Constitutional Convention the country was 99% Christian.
It certainly was overwhelmingly christian, but there were many deists back then who werent christians . Jefferson and Franklin both rejected the trinity but were deists

The Founders were suspicious of Catholics, because they thought they might be loyal to the pope instead of the country. There is no way they intended to provide religious freedom to Muslims who were enslaving their kin, especially when Muslims admit they are allowed to attack others because of their religion.
I mean...the catholics don't exactly get a pass for their history. They pretty much had several nations leaders by the balls to do their bidding. They funded genocide, and extorted their own members by twisting the bible and claiming indulgences were biblical. They prayed on illiterate people.
also 25 of the founding fathers had slaves...so I doubt they cared much about that topic
