Among those who fired back at Sanders were people on the political left — including politicians and people who appear on CNN and MSNBC — as well as Republican senators and conservative political commentators.

Left-wing CNN commentator Ana Navarro tweeted: “Castro regime’s been in power in Cuba for +60 yrs w/o free elections. They’ve killed, jailed, tortured thousands. They confiscated assets, expelled priests & nuns… And let’s be clear, Cubans weren’t exactly communicating by grunts. Most knew how to read.”

Left-wing MSNBC frequent guest Fernand Amandi tweeted out a series of videos showing Sanders’ repeated praise for communist leaders.

Amandi tweeted, “Here’s avowed socialist @BernieSanders talking about how President Kennedy made him ‘want to puke’ because JFK stood up to and condemned Fidel Castro’s tyrannical totalitarian regime in Cuba”

Sanders was on 60 minutes last night defending his comments about Cuba's "Literacy Rate education"

We know how Socialists educate. We have 1st hand accounts of what went on in Cuba.

He had every opportunity to say he didn't have all the facts when he made the original praise of Castro but instead doubled down.

Tim Pool is right. He just lost FL

Doubt it will change anything. Bernie just got 40% Latino vote in Nevada. And he’s polling at 30% in New York. Will be interesting g to see how he does in Texas, Florida, NYC after Super Tuesday.

Hell hes leading in every poll in Texas although it’s slim.

Why would Mexicans care about what Bernie said about Castro? Bernie's thoughts aren't anything new. Bernie is crushing it with Mexicans which is why he won Nevada so easily.

It won't. Cubans already vote Republican. Puerto Ricans still love communism.

Florida Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D) called out Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) comments about Cuban leader Fidel Castro as "insulting" to Floridians.

“.@SenSanders comments on Fidel Castro are ill-informed & insulting to thousands of Floridians. Castro was a murderous dictator who oppressed his own people. His ‘literacy program’ wasn’t altruistic; it was a cynical effort to spread his dangerous philosophy & consolidate power,” Murphy tweeted Monday.

@SMurphyCongress

Whether the subject is Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Israel or other foreign policy challenges, @SenSanders has consistently taken positions that are wrong on the merits and will alienate many Florida voters now and in the general election if he is nominated. #FlaPol

Stephanie Murphy is hedging her bets against the down ticket influence of Bernie's stupidity.

She deserves a golf clap.
