Have you had a chance to dialogue with any flat earthers?

This is a theory that has been circulated in the Q chat groups on Telegram. I mean besides the fact that most believe not only in aliens but a galactic federation, it is shocking that many believe genuinely in a doom covered flat earth.

Wack jobs like the above video are referenced.

In the entire recorded history of western civilization no one has ever reached the edge should be enough to silence this theory.

What is so messed up with today's world.

Flat Earthers are low on the crazy scale now

I don't know personally. I've never been to space. So, I can't confirm that you are wrong.

I know a couple personally...the premise it's built upon is that the government lies.

Most any evidence brought forth is bullshite and not directly observed by the arguer, it was given to them by others.

The best arguments against it are direct observations and calculations you can personally make with them. They can only explain the night sky as a localized hologram, which is a very hard stretch.

The earth isn’t flat, but we do all live in a VR simulation so that is subject to change.

Yes. I mentioned seeing ships disappearing over the horizon when I was at sea, and the conservation pretty much ended.

I don't believe any of those people really think that. It's some kind of troll or LARP.

It would strengthen the argument if you mentioned that you saw them return later.

Yes, I've worked with one. I thought it was a bit for a long time until he spent his hard earned money to attend the Flat Earth Conference and started wearing flat earth shirts.

Personally, I find the hollow earth theory to be a lot more interesting and fun.

I was at a child's bday party in deep redneck LA once.

The grandfather (who was probably about 50), comes out of his bedroom and goes outside. In his hands is a bottle of water, a styrofoam plate, and a ball.

He says as he's exiting "I'm going to show these motherfrickers whats what."

I am of course, confused.

A family member then tells me that he is a flat earther. He is going outside to record a video of him pouring water into the plate, and everything stays inside the plate. Then he will pour it on the ball, and everything slides off.

This proves flat earth on I guess the forum he posts on.

Not kidding.

They can’t explain Earths tidal system in relationship to the moon! It’s fun watching them flounder trying to explain it, like a progressive trying to explain the virtues of socialism!!!!

Yes, for six hours once I was trapped by a family member who shared their theories. I was shocked just sitting there listening to this.

No...though I do miss my debates with Young Earth Creationists on this site...fun times!

And no...that is NOT an invitation to do that now, I'm busy...plus, we have bigger fish to fry. If we somehow manage to save our country, we can go back to debating shite like that and I'll be the first to join in!
