I'm seriously trying to understand what he actually said. I didn't see the interview. I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, so I don't care a whole lot whether he did or didn't.
It would just be pretty funny if all of a sudden this board believed that he did in fact, kill himself.

Well, it seems pretty obvious you should go watch the video then. There's more substance to the conversation than what is portrayed by OP.
Tucker told Trump straight up that he and most people believe Epstein was killed.

I believe his comments were more that he simply doesn’t know enough to say one way or another. Doesn’t know enough beyond speculation, that is.

The answer was a little more nuanced than you describe. Trump said he doesn't know but is leaning that he probably killed himself.

He was being cagey with his answer and in context he sounded like he was saying he simply didn’t know and wasn’t going to say either way really. The moment he said Epstein was murdered you know what would’ve happened as well. Don’t be ridiculous and claim otherwise.

Trump kind of rode the fence on the question to be honest. He said he thinks he killed himself, but wasn't sure. Then he added, "an argument could be made either way".
The mind could run wild overanalyzing the answer. Could Trump have something to do with Epstein's death? Or maybe Trump knows enough about it, that if he talks and exposes some powerful people, that'll be the kill-switch that finally gets him assassinated?

I watched it last night. Tucker basically asked him what he thought, he didn't take much of a position either way, was very open to the idea of him having been killed, but when Tucker pressed and asked him what he thought happened if he had to take a guess, and he said he thought Epstein probably commited suicide because his life, especially his lavish lifestyle, was essentially over forever.
