“I never said business (restaurants) had to close. You can be open but with 10 or fewer people.”

What a disgrace.

- Said the republican JBE 2015 voter.

I warned you people that he was a fraud and a snake oil salesman and he's someone conservatives had no business voting for.

Sucks for the rest of us that they did not exercise rational and pragmatic judgement and instead went with losing their minds like a sky screamer over Vitter.

I took it to mean small businesses not on the restricted list

So a small insurance agency or a small art gallery or gift shop

But the rules have not been clear & most questions are not given a straight answer

But if I can go walk around a gift shop with 5 other people why can’t I sit at a bar with 5 other people?

None of this shite makes sense

What really doesn’t make sense is that everyone is going to the same grocery stores. We all have to go to the store, so it is a meeting place to pass it around.

Just like with almost every other virus, this shite is airborne. Not to mention people are touching everything in the store.

We are in big trouble one denial that we aren’t spreading this

Then he gave us a lecture about spreading the virus in the past two weeks, as if it could ever be eliminated, or if that was ever the goal. I have no confidence that these government leaders aren’t just completely blinded by naivety.

How many more years does this grandstanding, narcissistic piece of shite governor have left in office...3? I better not see his arse at one LSU game, saints game, festival, ribbon cutting, whatever without getting his arse booed at unlike any other!! He has just told the hard working, tax paying, mortgage and car note paying, small business owners, working class folks of this state that he’s in it for the next position which he hopes he can land in Washington. He is a progressive leftist self-centered piece of shite who is saying frick the hard working middle class, I’m playing this virus race card for all its worth. Screw all of those Louisianians who try to save for retirement, pay taxes, pay rent and mortgages and try live life on the up and up unlike the welfare leaches of this state. But of course we already knew this of him because he’s a trial lawyer in one of the most corrupt, backwards politics, fake republican states there is.

JBE is out of office in January 2024. 3 and a half long years to go with the next election in October 2023.

Gonna be a long grind until then.

Even then before this, I thought there was a good chance JBE might run for Senate in 2022 against John Kennedy. He's a political climber looking for his next shop.

Now? More like 50/50.

Reason is people will have to wiped down everything people touch and sit. That is why Takeout, delivery, and drive thru are allow.

the point is social distance and not sitting at a table and for some reason is more dangerous than keep moving forward and stay 6 feet away. many places have cleaned the carts that was not done before the COVID-19.
