Oh boy. News flash - most of us who supported Gov D are firmly behind Trump for the general now. There’s this critical thing coming up in November…

Yes, most are behind Trump, but there are some who are pissed and will stay home.
We are a minority and in seversl states a few thousand votes or non votes can make a difference.

The idea is to get as many votes as you can, not to run off voters.

And a candidate who appeals to those people will lose a portion of the MAGA crowd who never voted Republican or never even voted before 2016.

It worked out well for Ron DeSantis, Brian Kemp, and Glenn Youngkin. They all won their most recent General Elections by keeping the MAGA base and bringing in tons of suburban Independents who would rather drink bleach than vote for Trump.

The metro Atlanta and Northern Virginia suburban soccer moms may claim to love Mitt and Haley, but their white guilt would have them voting for Ilhan Omar or AOC if given a choice.

That's not true.

The Atlanta suburban soccer moms voted for every single state-wide Republican in 2022 other than Herschel Walker because he had the Trump stink on him. These same people voted for down-ballot Republicans in 2020 and 2016 and are the reason why Trump underperformed multiple Republicans in the Atlanta suburban counties.

NOVA soccer moms voted for every Republican on the ballot in 2021. These same people voted for Congressional Republicans in both 2016 and 2020. Trump underperformed Congressional Republicans in the NOVA counties both years he was on the ballot.

That's not going to be the reason why Trump loses. We all voted for Trump in 2020 and he lost badly, as an incumbent. What cost Trump was suburban Independents not voting for him but voting Republican down the rest of their ballots. These people rejected him in both 2016 and 2020. The only reason Trump barely won in 2016 was because Jill Stein was on the ballot in the swing states. If Stein wasn't on the ballot, Hillary would've won Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In 2020, Dems blocked the Green Party and other progressive 3rd party candidates from getting ballot access in the swing states. They're going to do the same thing this year.

Did it?

DeSantis cleaned out the corruption in just 2 large counties. He barely squeaked by before he removed those elections officers

Brian Kemp obviously cut a deal for him and Raattfricker. GA is the most fricked up, supposedly red state on the map

And Youngkin got destroyed during the midterms in VA. So bad that it ended all talk of him jumping into the 2024 race

I hope they don’t become like Mitt Romney.

Trump is doing his best to make sure they do. He can’t keep his gluttonous mouth closed.

And thats why Trump is breaking records in this primary season, and Mitt is skulking away knowing Trump will likely win twice when he couldnt do it once?

Yeah, thats the model most voters are going to grasp onto

And Trump lobbied for passage of the legislation that funded amped up mail-in voting and ballot harvesting in 2020.

DeSantis won the following election in a landslide.

Trump got cheated by the enemy he helped fund.

He wasn't Governor when he won during a Democrat +7 wave year in 2018. In 2022, he won by close to 20 points, and got many suburban voters who don't like Trump to cross over.

Uh, no. Trump and Trump hand-picked candidates aren't popular in Georgia. That's why Herschel Walker was the only state-wide Republican who lost. Heck, when Trump won the state in 2016 he got UNDER 51% of the vote (50.8%), and underperformed Johnny Isakson, who was in poor health, by 77,000 votes in the big 4 Atlanta counties. Georgia is a right-of-center state, but the suburban Independents who typically vote Republican hate Trump.

Try doing some research.
