Stop calling them "liberals". They are the opposite of liberal. I am a liberal. I know what a "liberal" is.

The folks running the US Democratic Party and the folks who support them are not "liberals". They are Leftist authoritarians.

"Liberals" in the traditional sense of the word are cool in my book. I am more of a social liberal than a conservative. However today's radical Leftists have completely tainted the term and make me not want to associate with them at all.

I don't know if "hatred" is really the correct term for me to use at this moment in time. "Wariness" or "fearfulness" might be more apt terms for me to express my thoughts or attitude toward the Commies these days. I think the moment of truth for me as far as realizing that this "wokeness" phenomenon is the most profound threat to the America I know and love in my lifetime were two incidents I saw on the street in Lexington, Virginia 3 and a half years ago in the early evening after a VMI football game. The first was 2 female VMI Keydets in full mutual tongue sucking lip lock and passionate embrace right there in the middle of Main Street. That act in isolation is no big deal at all for me. After all, I've spent a lot of time in cities like New Orleans, San Francisco, New York, and Paris. What did bother me was the context which was 2 female KMI Keydets in the middle of the street in Lexington, Virginia clad in the same gray uniforms worn by two of the greatest Americans that ever lived, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee, and within a half-mile of where both these two great men are laid to rest. About 30 minutes later I came upon another female VMI keydet with her middle finger about 1/16th of an inch from the nose of a shocked and flustered middle-aged man with a MAGA hat on and using language that would make a roustabout in the Gulf blush. Again, the context is what matters here. I must admit that to this day I'm a bit ashamed that I didn't intervene in the 2nd incident, but at least I did stop and stare. Everybody else just pretended it wasn't happening. Both these incidents pushed my awareness over the top as to how endangered our society has gotten itself into.

Agree here. I have friends who were a bit left of center who think the critical theories and woke bullshite are absolute insanity.

I used to be a liberal until they completely went off the rails. I can’t stand them at this point

I think Prager is generally correct in his definitions of liberals and leftists. The problem is so many who think or proclaim themselves liberals, and are routinely called such, are really leftists.
I call them the No Brain Left.
And to answer, yes I hate them and everything they stand for to the core of my being.
