Run-off between Dardenne and Vitter. Dardenne would probably win a very, very close race.

He's the front runner Dem candidate unless Mary jumps in. He's a West Point grad. I've had personal lunches with him a couple of times. He's a great guy, but he's a liberal (with many socially conservative views). He has no chance.

I like John Bel, too, but he'll get slaughtered simply because of the letter behind his name.

I've met him and he is a nice guy. I wouldn't write him off if he's socially conservative and not too far left economically. He should play up his West Point background and his family values.

He needs to get his message out. First I've heard of him.

I've met John Bel Edwards a couple of times. Very personable, very intelligent, and great family values. Even with the D behind his name, he has my vote.

Unless something drastically changes I just can't see myself voting for him.

It would be taking a chance that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

What tree do you think John Bel fell from?
