52% of that party was in favor of sending the unvaccinated to camps and removing our children from our homes.

So no. They are exactly who they’ve been for a decade.

The only upside to losing someone who I believe was a likely future president is that the GOPe wing of the party and independents are now acknowledging it.

The anonymous X and other posters: not at all.

ETA: and re: Hollywood and MSM zero surprise and as someone else said, if anything surprised not worse.

The average retard using her real name and business: not shocked but maybe a little surprised. Pleasantly in a way (putting aside the hurt to the Kirk family) because it has exposed thousands of pieces of shite and rendered them casualties of the culture and spiritual war.

No- I’m not shocked their media mouth pieces and their rino scum friends tried the both sides this.

I’m not surprised that your average every day liberal is dumb enough to be a vile person on social media and I’m not shocked they have done property damage to memorials.

The left hates us and they have trannies that will kill the right and its kids

My expectation is for them to act like pieces of shite.

I'd be *surprised* if they acted gracefully.

No, I've known progressives like this one have wanted fellow Americans killed for many years.

I was alerted to their wishes of my impending doom the day I told one I didn't think men could give birth. LOL

These people are insane. Thank them for letting you know who they are, and get your family as far away from them as possible.

I was surprised, but not shocked. I knew there would be some, but what was surprising was normal folks that defended it.

They literally approved of the shooting for an opinion, but rejected anyone getting fired for their opinions.

Honestly no.

But my own reaction has been what surprised me most. After years of seeing the extreme minority of Liberal dumbfricks in my family posting their ridiculous nonsense and talking points on socials, I found myself wondering what it would actually take to delete them and make a conscious decision to permanently excise their toxicity and presence from my life.

Welp, their reactions to Charlie's death, that's what it took.

I mentioned last week that I was going to be with my BIL and sister, staying in Mom's house. She is 91, and has serious disease, both pulmonary fibrosis and breast cancer.

She was in the hospital, and was going to undergo a procedure in her upper GI to find where she had internal bleeding. Her hemoglobin had dropped to 7 from 14 and she was in a situation where if the surgeon had to go lower she would have had to use anesthesia and off the oxygen for a period of time and her doctors said if that happened they weren't sure she could survive and come out of it.

I stayed at the hospital with her. About 6:00 the evening before the surgery the next morning, when my mom wasn't sure she would survive it, my sister, who is a hard core leftist and her husband, who believes the same as her or worse, had sat with us in the hospital room and heard me, my two brothers, my two SIL's and my mom discussing the Charlie Kirk assassination. Mom loves Fox News and had it on the TV in the room, which of course, my sister and BIL hate with a white hot passion. So, they just sat there and never said one word about the assassination. Not one, single word, pro or con. My oldest son, however, came up. He had met Charlie Kirk when he was in Bossier, and spent 5 or 6 minutes with him, and they both prayed together. He was really upset. He'd never been aware of his aunt and uncle's hard lean to the left and he noticed that neither one had said anything and just bluntly asked my uncle, "You haven't said anything. Aren't you upset about it?"

While the rest of us had just ignored them, and knew they were both seething inside, my son, 44 years old, didn't. So when my BIL said, "I don't think he deserved to be shot, but no, I'm not upset."

My son said, "That's pretty fricked up. It's like they shot America's Ghandi. How can you not be upset?" My BIL said he didn't have time to discuss it and told my sister it was time to leave and they got up and left, but then my sister said to my Mom that they were going back to Dallas first thing in the morning to check on their daughter (she has her own health issues) and wouldn't be there in the morning. They left and one of my brothers followed and convinced my sister that she should be there to see my Mom before she went in to surgery as it might be the last time she could see Mom while she was alive. So, she agreed to come back the next morning, but instead, they got up, made a breakfast, left Mom's kitchen with smelly trash, a sink full of dishes and didn't bother stripping the bed and throwing the sheets in the washer and putting new sheets back on. Then they left and showed up at the hospital four hours after the surgery.

To say that this emotionally hurt my Mom is a huge understatement. She cried about it with me and in those moments and the moments since, I've lost all respect for them both. They had always been selfish. He has always had his nose in the air around my family and even though I somehow ended up living in the DFW area within 2 miles of my sister, she never once would help us when we needed help watching a kid while we had to do something, telling me, "I raised mine and don't want to raise anyone else's." Real winner of a sister.

Unfortunately, the woke mind virus and TDS have claimed them as victims and I'm afraid that my relationship, as minimal as it is, with my sister, will be fully severed once my mom has passed and the estate is settled.

And it's not because we all don't love our sister. We do, but they have chosen to be this way and that was not the way any other of our family was raised.

Long answer to address Is OP's question, but, no, not surprised at all. This is who they are.

She feels the same about you, unfortunately.

I've seen many of my former leftist friends disown family the past 10-15 years over political disagreements. This is nothing new. Then, they turn around and tell everyone the family members they disowned were "in a cult".

Sadly no. Democrats hate:
*Christians
*Conservatives
*Intelligent people
*The truth

And they show it in social media and in politics, policies and in everyday life.
