No, they were just about to do something then they had to produce Epstein documents 
A law firm with five associates could’ve produced those documents and now Trump is blaming that on Bondi’s ineffectiveness on everything else. This is the Federal Government with unlimited resources.

The chief reason I support Trump is to wrest control of the Republic from the Deep State. He HAS made inroads there: securing the border and breaking up USAID being really big deals.
As far as holding any individual responsible for Deep State crimes to hijack the will of the American people, I can't think of any. The Comey prosecution was close, but it was irrevocably botched.
Just as an example, Liz Cheney publicly admitted to witness tampering in the J6 cover-up. She should have been charged on day one of Trump 2.0.
