It's almost been 30 years of conferences and they still can't reign in the climate. Their attempts to regulate the climate are futile.

21 2014: COP 20/CMP 10, Lima, Peru
22 2015: COP 21/CMP 11, Paris, France
23 2016: COP 22/CMP 12/CMA 1, Marrakech, Morocco

29 2022: COP 27/CMP 17/CMA 4, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt

COP stands for Conference of the Parties. As in United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change parties (Conference of the Parties, COP).

Parties alright. It's all they do is party.

***Climate has some short term large changes due to variations in natural cycles***
“We told you so, now we need more money to fix it.”

***Climate has less change than what they predicted***
“Can you image how bad it would be if we weren’t doing this!? But we need more money to do even more!”

***Climate has little to no long term man-made effects***
“See, it’s working and we need more money to keep it going!”

They don’t want to actually do anything on the climate bc then the grift would be over.

Not that they are able to do anything anyway.

A little bit from all the private jets, yachts and limos that the elitist use to get to the events.

Those conferences are really nice. Attendees get the plush hotels and best banquets. Everything is paid for. And the one in Paris in 2015 had the best looking 'hostesses'. But I wish they'd shave everything.
We need more conferences to save the world.

Man do I wish someone would come up with an incredible totally "green" and cheap energy source just to see how these clowns would react if their gravy train suddenly ended. Would they attack the new energy source and demonize it?

Absolutely.
The green warriors just do not want to calculate the increased carbon footprint and environmental damage caused by burning the extra jet fuel and bunker fuel in the yacht's that they travel in to attend an uber important pow wows in far off exclusive resorts.
No environmental sacrifice is too great for them, while they argue over the best method to clean up the environment at the expense of the working class and global economy.

Reminds me of a very early venture on the internet. I was keeping up with ZPG (Zero Population Growth).
Q: 'OK, why don't you commit suicide?'
A: 'I need to stay alive to spread the message.'

They should fly those jets to Hawaii to watch the volcano. That's climate change.

29 conferences. Zero in the US. 4 in Bonn.

They have the best frauleins for rich partygoers, don’t they folks?

I’m actually pretty proud not to host any of these.

Delivering closing remarks at a World Economic Forum panel session on Wednesday, Gore spoke passionately about the climate emergency.

At one stage, the co-founder of Generation Investment Management compared the scale of the crisis to a number of infamous historic events.

It is “way worse” than many realize and intensifying “way faster” than people appreciate, Gore said.

“This is Thermopylae. This is Agincourt. This is Dunkirk. This is the Battle of the Bulge. This is 9/11,” he added.
