It’s important to remember allegations against Weinstein have nothing to do with party politics, where allegations against President Donald Trump dominated and continue to dominate the national political dialogue because the way our president and elected representatives view women affects us all. But where Weinstein is concerned, revelations against the influential Hollywood producer speak to an issue that transcends politics — that is, whether or not we as a society trust and respect women. And as dismal as this may sound, the dark reality is that we continually fail to. There’s no shortage of people and historical traditions to blame for this, but the decades-long Republican war on women is one starting point. … For years, that social and political disenfranchisement has been propagated by the party that unapologetically handed Trump the presidency, where, at the very least, Democratic stars and politicians have come out in droves to unequivocally disavow Weinstein. For years, policies and rhetoric by Republican lawmakers related to American women have been united by a common theme — that women cannot be trusted. Following core conservative ideology, women cannot be trusted to make basic bodily decisions; instead, the government must make these decisions for them and hamper their access to the resources requisite to their autonomy.

Or how about the notion that some rich, powerful old guys like to use that wealth and power to get young pussy and that transdends party politics?
That’d be more accurate

Or how about one party is insufferably preachy about how pure they are about women while running them through a meat grinder on the download.

Well, to be fair, had sHitlary won, Harvey would have had the FBI, CIA, IRS and every other governmental agency at his disposal to make sure that this story never saw the light of day -- all for a "rather sizeable" donation to the Hitlary 2020 campaign.
And, Harvey would still be running Hollywood and bundling money for sHitlary.

Those "allegations" against Trump were factually debunked and one of the women was exposed for working with the Clinton campaign prior to the allegations surfacing. So it's hard to take these cries seriously knowing there were too many holes in their stories and the shadiness of Clinton's tactics.
And by the way, did she make a reference of all the prominent libs who disavowed Bill? Once again, "Deflect, defend, deny... Accuse Republicans of what you are guilty of and do as we say, not as we do."

saw the Yahoo story where they were headlining Bannon had past dealings with HW. Delusional complicit Hollywood only has itself to blame this time.

Considering how big the Weinsteins were in the business, it would be a bigger shock if someone with any real history in showbusiness never had dealings with them.

Holy hell. who do they think they are fooling?

Themselves.
They are convinced that they are fighting the good fight, so any proof coming out that a major lefty donor / mouthpiece was a sack of shite automatically means they were really a Republican.

Late-night host Seth Meyers on Thursday compared President Trump to Harvey Weinstein night, saying the same “culture of systemic misogyny” enabled both men, who have been accused of sexual harassment and assault. “This entire ordeal is yet another window into the entitled mind of powerful, predatory men who are used to operating without consequence,” Meyers said of the allegations against Weinstein. Meyers accused Trump of misogynistic behavior, particularly toward San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz, saying he shares Weinstein’s traits of dominance and power abuse. “His campaign and now his presidency have been in many ways, a performance of dominance,” Meyers said. “A performance, that has in many cases, been explicitly misogynist.”

How convenient. Another liberal Democrat donor perv gets busted, but let's focus on the bigger issue and ignore his political leanings.

Garbage like this should be expected from Kylie Cheung. She's written crazy stuff like this at Mediaite.
