The reason he had cheers in Poland today was because the Polish government bused in supporters like they did in the Red old days:

Donald Trump didn’t exactly earn a unanimously warm welcome during his first trip to Europe as president in May. To ensure that his second visit starts off on a far more positive note this week, considerable measures are being taken, including those borrowed straight from the Communist Party playbook. Ahead of making his way to Germany for the start of the G-20 summit Friday, Trump will land in Poland Wednesday and is guaranteed a rapturous reception: Supportive crowds literally will be bused in to cheer for him.

You believe that shite? It's already been confirmed that people were bussed in for crowd control purposes, and the crowd response was incrediblely positive and natural, not manufactured

It's a country with great people and bright politics.

Of course it's warm and natural when one's political supporters are there, just like it's warm and nautural when Trump holds a rally in Tennessee or other right-leaning locale. He doesn't do rallies in places unfavorable to him since he's become President - also to draw favorable crowds and few protestors.
Here it is from a right-wing source if you like:

Poland is pulling out all the stops for President Trump, who is scheduled to arrive in the eastern European country late Wednesday. The Polish government plans to bus in Trump supporters to make sure he feels welcomed by a loud, cheerful crowd at Krasinski Square in Warsaw, according to a Polish media report Wednesday. Officials promised Trump he would be warmly received if he accepted the country's invitation to stop by before heading to the G-20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany, later this week.

No doubt they like us. They were with US as part of the "coalition of the willing" in '03 when most of Western Europe wasn't willing to join us in Iraq (although in retrospect... but I digress.
). It's probably one of the more favorable places for Trump in Europe these days.
But... in that Pew Poll, Poles (say that 3 times fast) gave Obama a confidence rating of >50% and Trump a 23%. There's not much that European countries agree on, but not liking Trump is one of them.

Holy shite, Shep Smith/Toddy is so fricking pathetic. This guy deserves to have his arse beat every day that he wakes up.

Progressive nations don't like a person that's not progressive. I'm shocked.

That's part of it, but Trump's also been shaking down NATO for change. Older Poles and Eastern Europeans remember what it was like to be a satellite nation of the Soviet Union and see what Putin is doing in Ukraine and Crimea. They like American Presidents that stand strong with them like Reagan did.
Here's a Reagan statue they put up in Warsaw a few years ago.

PLACES CAMPAIGNED:
CLINTON: 37 states plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico
TRUMP: 45 states plus Washington, D.C. and Mexico and Scotland
I didn't know there were 45 right leaning states!

Well, it's about time they meet their obligations. No other President was able to get them to do it with apologies and acting like besties.

You cut off the rest of the sentence:

You think he should do a "rally" in a location filled with people so deranged that they (many) want him dead?
Posted on 7/6/17 at 2:30 pm to roadGator
There's an argument to be made for that, but the way he's been so public about it and refusing to back article 5 until today wasn't going to win him public support with the Polish people. Maybe this visit will help. We'll see.
No, of course not. It's just fair to point out the P.R. machinations because the rally is meant to give off a message that the Polish people are generally positive about him when they're not.

Article 5 is great. Are the other nations meeting their obligations in the balance of the other articles?
It's your money too.

Well NATO members' spending obligations don't even begin until 2024, so you can't accurately claim that they are failing in that regard

NATO members didn't agree to get their arse in gear until Russia invaded Crimea, and signed the agreement in 2014.

Not directed at you, particularly, TigerDoc, but I have no idea why people are so concerned about what the rest of the world thinks about us.
I would bet nobody on this board checks with anybody else when they decide to get married, buy a house, buy a car or do anything else. Yet so many from the left want to check on the pulse of the rest of the world and do everything that might get their approval. It amazes me.
