Jeffries also told CNN that the Democrats enacted the vote in Virginia to nullify gains made in Texas.

SO - Texas removed the gerrymandering and VA responded by creating even more gerrymandering.

Such partisan gerrymandering should be illegal and unconstitutional. It's not what free and fair elections are made of.

How could this possibly pass muster with the Supreme Court when they're literally admitting to changing this for federal election reasons? Seems like it would fall squarely in federal jurisdiction.

The supreme court has said that there are no federal constitutional limits on political gerrymanders. It was the republican majority that said this. This result was pretty predictable. Whether it's bad or not, you could argue about..

Probably, but he's all bluster anyway. There isn't a chance he has put an ounce of thought into what he was saying.

Great! Do it Florida - and tell Hakeem Jeffries to stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Let's have us a redistricting Ho Down.

The state Supreme Court is likely going to strike this down. The states constitution specifically states that everything on the ballot should be Neutral.

Hakeem Jeffries said that Republicans in Florida will suffer further losses if they move forward with redistricting.

Uh, doesn't he want more Republican losses? Why would he give republicans advice on how to avoid losses?

“We will aggressively target for defeat Mario Díaz-Balart, Maria Elvira Salazar, Carlos Giménez, Kat Cammack, Anna Paulina Luna, Laurel Lee, Cory Mills and Brian Mast. We are prepared to take them all on, and we are prepared to win.” Jeffries added, “Maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time.”

I couldn't tell if this was an Iranian spokesperson or Jeffries. Similar hollow threats.
