Had dinner with a liberal millennial last night.

My niece's boyfriend. Recent LSU graduate. They live in Houston.
The kid is just all ate up with it. Loves Beto. Loves AOC. Wants the green new deal but doesn't really know what's in it. Hates corporations. Doesn't believe America is exceptional.
When I challenged him on the basis for his views, I got incoherent talking points. He's a nice kid, but he is lost.
This is our future, you people. Idealism and caring trumps facts and logic. There are millions of these people out there. We are doomed.

Take him out back. Split a bottle of bourbon and tell him how it really works. Dont scorn him for ignorance. Only way to change em for the better

I've said it before: AOCortez is the mainstream of the Dem Party.

The millennial hate on this board is the funniest continuation of generational despair. “That new generation will be the end of us!” Said every generation ever. If you think that ever Millenial is a radical progressive then you’re not really paying attention. Besides, which generation is responsible for our nation’s current state of affairs? Millenials haven’t been in charge.
