Guvnah Ivey blames the unvaxxed

Governor Kay Ivey (R-AL) told Birmingham, AL’s CBS 42 on Thursday during a press gaggle that it was “time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks” for COVID-19 cases rising in her state.
When asked about mask mandates, Ivey said, “Let’s be crystal clear about this issue. The new cases of Covid are because of unvaccinated folks. Almost 100% of the new hospitalizations are with unvaccinated folks. And the deaths are certainly occurring with the unvaccinated folks. These folks are choosing a horrible lifestyle of self-inflicted pain. We got to get folks to take the shot. The vaccine is the greatest weapon we have to fight COVID. There is no question about that the data proves it. I’ve taken the shot back in December, both shots. It’s just the thing to do. The unvaccinated is who we need to focus on.”
When asked how to increase Alabama’s vaccination rate, Ivey said, “I don’t know, you tell me. Folks are supposed to have common sense. But it’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks. It’s the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down.”
She added, “I’ve done all I know how to do. I can encourage you to do something, but I can’t make you take care of yourself.”

Covid cases might not be rising so fast if we didn’t have millions of people being turned loose inside the country without being tested. Illegal immigration has a lot to do with the spread and current cases on the rise. So thank Biden and the Dems for that.

You want people to take the vaccine? Give them updated statistics everyday instead of just fear porn. Show them how many people have take. The vaccine and how many have fixed after the vaccine with notes on what is expected. Show them hospitalization rates of vaxed and unvaxed along with deaths and age and comorbidities of each person. Give people clean reasonable data. Don’t do stupid shite like try and make taking a vaccine like a lottery where you win money. shite like that makes people think you are trying to dupe them. Treat people like they have some sense and give them data to backup that the vaccine is worth taking. Everything about the vaccine is just radio noise.

She seems very well liked by the Birmingham establishment crowd who run things and tolerated by the older RNC crowd across the state.
Those two together are a winning coalition, even though Battle or Brooks should be the leader for the party IMO.

So the people who released this crap cannot be mentioned but the victims who try and navigate life now are the problems . She is partly true I guess as people do vote these bad politicians into office . Other than that they need to STFU
