I don't care.

You said more guns = more gun deaths. The data do not show that. Instead of admitting that you fricked up, you brought in confounders of all things, then fricked that up.

Except it does.

No it doesn't. That's why you've needed to distance yourself from your original assertion.

We're getting you there, though. Keep working at it.

Mark my words that places like Palmetto State Armory will make millions off of online sales if this is enacted.

And Natchez Shooters' Supply, and bulkammo.com, and on and on.

Wrong. Self-reported gun ownership rate in polls (which is highly influenced by the prevailing political climate) is not the same as the actual absolute number of gun owners which has increased. There are more guns in the hands of more individuals now than any point in the history of the US.

Total number has increased. Rate of ownership in the population has gone down.

And those people make up a smaller percentage of the total US population than they did a generation ago.

BamaAtl is persistent. She'd rather die than admit she was wrong to me. I like that quality in my victims.

No you don't. The data that you claim support your point do not exist. I know more about this than you do.

The people who do actual research into this subject disagree with you. As always, I'll take their results over your uninformed opinion.

Let's test that.

quote:

No, the gun regulations are all after the fact (no felons, no active restraining order), while car regulations are before you can possess one (licensure, registration, etc).

You fricked that up, didn't you?
