I don't think we are going to be pleased with Mayor Moreno. She's been on the City Council since 2018 - President of the City Council for the last 4 years. She's part of the reason New Orleans is in the mess it is in.
And this nonsense with Harris is just dumb.
Who hijacked 4chubbs account?

Probably the most important thing she's ever accomplished.

Moreno is a progressive. She will do the bidding of the rich white liberals from uptown and out state. She will do the bidding of Morial and Landrieu. She is just a more educated Teedy.
Until we get the surrounding parishes to vote for Mayor of NOLA (since we are stuck tied to the city), nothing changes and it will continue to fall apart.
Moreno comes from money. Look up what daddy was in the oil business in Mexico.

She will be 100x better than out last 8 mayors. She’s a lot more moderate than people think. It’s the DNC that handpicks who swears who in if you want support. She didn’t pick Kamala even if she says she did. It’s all orchestrated by DNC. I think she’ll be a good mayor and I voted for Trump 3 times

In what ways? I reached out to her office when she was Council president and they were useless. She's good for strongly worded social media posts and not much else.

Probably there to help set up some Somali Day Care centers.

Are we forgetting the easiest connection of these dots?
Who was Kamala's campaign chair who had to come out on election night at her campaign party to tell everyone to go home when it was becoming obvious Trump was winning?
Former U.S. Rep. Cedric Richmond (LA-02 aka NOLA)
Who was front & center at Moreno's victory party when she gave her acceptance speech?
Cedric Richmond
Richmond is the 1 setting this all up now that he's just a big-wig in the Democratic Party but not holding any political office
Richmond was also part of Barry's administration I do believe

Combined IQ of everyone on that stage barely hits 100.

Moreno is gonna be as insufferable as teedy.
That's obvious already...

I’m MAGA AF, but let’s relax. This is really a non-issue.
In and of itself it’s not an issue. It’s just an example of her poor judgement.
Kamala is a polarizing figure. Why would you want affiliate with such a person on the first day of your term?
Unlike many political offices, mayor should not be a hyper-partisan office.
A mayor needs to actually govern. Or should, anyway.

Not to Moreno and Harris' base. Your mayor knows that she can dig herself in even deeper with those voters. LBJ was right.

Grew up in the Memorial area of Houston and graduated from Episcopal High School, then SMU. It's amazing to me that the Dem political establishment of New Orleans supported a candidate with her background. But I guess it's all about saying yes to the right people and endorsing the right policy checklist.
Fits the pattern of a lot of "progressive" mayors in other cities like Minneapolis, who didn't grow up there, but quickly started running for office once they got there. Almost as if they were recruited and orchestrated.

White uptown liberals
Marc Morial
Mitch Landrieu
These are her handlers.
