Sorry, I forgot you guys are perfect, and have never broke any harmless laws. This is a harmless law she broke. It’s all because of the tension between the West and Russia, that she’s going through this. She’s a political prisoner. We all know weed is harmless, and no one should go to jail because of a plant.

Yep, no black, woman, or lesbian privilege in Russia...

I for one am enjoying watching this ungrateful piece of shite realize that not everyone will bend the knee for her solely because she's black, eats pussy, and hates America and Americans.

I hope the court shows mercy. Ridiculous that we’d even consider trading a terrorist for her release. Good campaign ad material for the Rs however.

No one said that, but nice attempt at deflecting, even if it died on the vine.

I drive over the speed limit virtually every day I'm on the interstate. If I get ticketed for speeding, I accept the responsibility of my actions and pay the fine.

That tattooed freak is intentionally broke the law. She is being held accountable for it. I'm not shedding a single tear for her "plight".

Irrelevant. Take it up with the ghost of William Randolph Hearst.

Then people should petition their lawmakers to change the laws. Until then, the fact remains that it's against the law. No amount of emotional appeals will change this.

She would wipe her arse with the American flag and the leftist goose-steppers would cheer her on.

It's not about being perfect, it's about NOT being incredibly stupid.

When you are in a FOREIGN FKING COUNTRY with some pretty draconian laws, you better familiarize yourself with those laws.

Now, let's not beat around the bush: Even if she WERE familiar with Russian Law, she was still gonna fk up and smoke weed because "she gon do what she gon do"....

I really try my best not to break "unfair" laws in countries with extraordinarily-tough punishments for said crimes. I assure you, no one is going to catch me sipping a Budweiser while walking through the airport in Riyadh.

Alright. Well, in all honesty, I don't feel that what I've done is a crime. And I think it's illogical and irresponsible for you to sentence me to prison. Because, when you think about it, what did I really do? I crossed an imaginary line with a bunch of plants. I mean, you say I'm an outlaw, you say I'm a thief, but where's the Christmas dinner for the people on relief? Huh? You say you're looking for someone who's never weak but always strong, to gather flowers constantly whether you are right or wrong, someone to open each and every door, but it ain't me, babe, huh? No, no, no, it ain't me, babe. It ain't me you're looking for, babe. You follow?

Probably her best option considering she would be found guilty anyway.
I think they might just deport her soon.
She’s just a basketball player and not much of a bargaining chip.

That’s wha a reasonable person would do. But she will probably come back saying that Russia is even more racist and anti-LGBTQ than her awful America, and that bigotry and oppression against gay black women is a global crisis. She isn’t letting go of her victim status nor admitting that she’s been wrong about our country. Biden will probably give her a Congressional Medal and fund a task force to study this and ESPN will bestow an Espy for courage and bravery.

So you guys are ok with her being locked up unfairly, for strictly political reasons? She’s facing the consequences of her actions, because that’s the law of that land?

Russia is only going to release her if she decides to play for Russia in the next Olympics.
