All things equal, I'd like to get her back. But, I don't want to give up political capital to get it done for someone who basically brought this upon themselves.
The major difference between you and me is that I recognize that "being ok with it" has zero to do with the reality of the situation. You seem to think your sadness on the subject is meaningful.

Unfortunately for Brittney Griner, there’s not much Biden or anyone else in the U.S. can do. Russia is a sovereign country with their own criminal justice system, and Griner broke their laws. That’s it. They don’t make exceptions just because your famous, or because of your skin color or sexual preferences.
