Why are people so accepting of Maher now? He wished for people, our people, the American people, to suffer - just to help get Trump out of office.

That's not forgivable.

Rhetorical question, but he arrogantly and with his wonderful comedy said "I ain't no house n*gga", he said oh my bad, all was forgiven. Why wasn't his career destroyed? He spent 3 days saying my bad, predictably enlisted the usual suspects Sharpton and Jackson, and it disappeared before the week was over. If I was Kid Rock or any conservative, or hell anybody, I'd tear his arse apart over it. Why does he still have a career? It was as egregious a statement as I've ever heard. If conservatives weren't such pussies they'd end him

I don’t accept him, but it’s fun watching the other side eat each other.

Instead of categorically calling people bad, how about judging what they say on an individual basis.

The litmus test leads to you standing alone.

Maher is an entertainer. He's going to say provocative things to both sides.

Not really, he basically says stop messing with Kids and no more Trump.

It’s not earth shattering stuff.

He survived that because of his ethnicity and also because he has a regular rotation of black guests who stood up for him (Cornell West, Black science guy, Michael Nance, etc)

Kid Rock is not a very big man. However, look how much empty space is available in Maher's chair.
