At least now we know why their attorney told them that they were better off working a deal.

There's ample video of people smashing and forcing their way in. Don't deny reality.
EDIT: Besides, this lady posted on facebook that there were doors and windows smashed and that she was still picking glass out of her purse. That certainly suggests that she didn't go in through an open door.

I tell you what, how 'bout all of us proud Americans go to Portland, Or. and hold our own kind of trial with every Antifa member we can find?
Treatment no different in my opinion.

I see no benefit in prosecuting random people who were in the middle of a moving crowd of people who entered only out of curiosity after the way was open. I can certainly see how some people merely got swept up in the crowd and went in just to see what was going on.
Then there are the ones who had a more aggressive intent, the smashers and other dangerous people, who absolutely should be identified and prosecuted.
This lady seems like she wasn't a personally dangerous person but was in a front line group that was actually breaking in, and knew exactly what they were doing.
Just speaking for myself, if I am at the Capitol Building and folks are smashing windows and doors to storm the building, I'm out. If you join those people close enough to get shattered glass in your purse, you know you are breaking some law for sure.
This lady will probably get community service or some slap on the wrist. However, considering her own words posted on the internet at the time, her guilty plea is understandable and reasonable.

The capitol is open to the public and police did not stop people from entering. Some people broke windows while inside of the capitol, but this woman isn't being charged with vandalism of any kind.
You are just making excuses to jail more americans for the crime of disagreeing with your politics, while criminals like Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton still have their freedom. You are a vile piece of shite.

40 hrs of community service and she was over charged by politically motivated people.

How do we know the plea involves a misdemeanor? The article doesn't identify the charges or the plea.
Please don’t try to defend this. It’s an unconscionable government overreach.

she was doxxed by a liberal do-gooder who saw her facebook posts about the protests, immediately arrested, and literally held in jail for days on a misdemeanor charge until she finally agreed to plead guilty. They dont treat black street criminals this poorly.

TBoy, like many liberals, rationalizes the imprisonment of political opposition - even down to the civilian level.
Ironically, they all hate Putin who cemented his power in the exact same way.

No. But his evil has been punished in other ways unfortunately.

The government is acting ridiculous at how far they’re willing to go with these people but not gonna lie it’s tough to feel sorry for her. Just like it would be tough to feel sorry for people who just happened to walk into a Target being looted after George was shot.

There's another story here that I find interesting. An Indiana sherriff's office employee is doing social media scrubs of people who apply for firearm permits and turning them into the feds for merely being at a public protest.
The way liberals think is frightening.
