So no increase in defense spending as well? or disaster relief? or funds to combat the drug crisis?

The House looks to be up in the air. Pelosi reportedly told her caucus to vote however they wanted to vote. This is unusual because the caucus is usually given direction one way or the other.

The craziest part, I've seen several Ds say they will vote "N" because of the out of control spending in this deal

Are they really doing this crap again?

The House is shaky as both Ds & Rs oppose portions of the Senate deal.

I tried both Fox and CNN, but I only have my phone to search on and haven’t had luck finding details on the Senate deal or what portions some are opposed to.

Anyone care to help a baw out?

All I can see is two tv's. One has MSNBC (talking about perjury traps), and FOX (talking about the wife beater).

No real news to be seen.

You mentioned a bipartisan bill in an earlier post in this thread. Is that the Senate CR I’ve seen mentioned or something else?

I definitely spent too much time working today as I’m way behind on news.

I haven't paid that much attention to it this week, but earlier in the week they were reporting the senate had come do a deal that increased defense/non defense spending, disaster relief, drug rehab. extended the debt ceiling until 2019. That appears to have fallen apart now that a few repubs/dems are opposed to the spending levels.

He's so good at presenting the facts. $356,933 spent to find out if Japanese quail are more sexually promiscuous on cocaine. Wow. Wasteful spending.

LMAO! He didn't say, I googled, nothing came up. But you know those quail turn into straight up hoes on coke.

Know what's funny? These scientists got $300000 plus to "buy cocaine for an experiment " bet none of those quail got one snort.
