Is this like when democratic lawmakers travel with armed security while proposing restrictions on gun ownership?

And the hypocrite cucked out of running for reelection and is retiring instead so what's the issue here?

This just in, AL gore flys a massive jumbo jet and has a carbon footprint the size of Rhode Island.

No way I'd ever think a politician would be hypocritical. Nope. Never. They never ever say one thing and do another. Nope. Never. All straight shooters.

They need to be called out when they do it.

Well, we will see the equity with which you call out politicians.

So.... Call them out.

Every. Single. One. Of. Them.

But then, by singling them all out, you've singled none of them out.

So what if none has been singled out. Call them all out. Every single one.

Honestly, I never get the outrage about these sorts of hypocritical gotchas. I admit I get a little perverse pleasure from the anti-gay guy who gets caught boning 20 guys a week off Grinder or the anti-gun gal who has weapons scarier than the Aberdeen Proving Ground but really where is the issue. We are a representational democracy and as long as the representative votes as the majority of his/her constituency dictates aren't they being effective?

They are being Baptist bartenders.

I would assume that a congressman holds a position not just for show but because of sincere belief.

If he is against abortion in his gig I call him a hypocrite for not being against it after work.

It won't get any different if we don't call them out but just shrug shoulders.

Would you rather have an effective representative (one that is very good at fighting for the causes of his constituency but doesn't always share the same beliefs or one that is passionate about (to use your example) pro-life but is ineffective at getting legislation that restricts abortion? I just can't expect a single person to have personal beliefs that exactly mirror their constituents all the time. It is like I doubt most tier one operators believe in everything they are task to do but if they are "yes sir no sir three bags full" and consistently accomplish the mission then they are fine by me.

As much of a dick move the abortion and affair are, especially coming from such a pious Douche, the way he treated his staff is just as bad. Tim Murphy has some serious issues.

Vast majority of threads and comments highlight hypocrisy on the left, one thread on some guy on the right and the main retort is WHAT AB THE GUYS ON THE LEFT.
