I don't like the WHO, but, at face value, there's nothing wrong with governments being on the look out for new strains of viruses or bacteria that could kill millions.

Due to their short lifespans you can (will) get rapid change so this is a year to year danger.

I'm not fond of them creating these viruses.

As has already been pointed out, this is a particularly shitty take compared to your normal shitty takes.

It was the only thing that could have stopped Trump from steamrolling to reelection and it allowed them to brutally repress the Hong Kong protests in the name of "public safety."

Hello Disease X

Sounds like a B sci-fi movie or the name of a combo alt/punk rock band.

I had the flu, rsv, and pneumonia shot in November, should have gotten the lower intestine virus shot also. Haven't trusted a fart in 7 days. Could this be disease X?

I would agree if there was deserved trust in the WHO, however we found out during the COVID19 pandemic they are largely controlled by China and by that measure they are just another failed institution that's a threat to the sovereignty of the US and our constitutional republic.

So they commit suicide instead of dealing with largely ineffective tariffs?

How does that make any logical sense?

They were doing this well prior to Covid

He had pivoted for a while to lying and saying he never said that, people were confusing different things.

Then this thread happened, with this post in it.

And he’s been running like the lying bitch he is ever since whenever it gets brought up.

There was a trade war Slo. I'm in the wholesale business. Companies were scrambling to find other countries to shift manufacturing too. That is a fact. Then c-19 shows up. You say 'talking points' which is just saying I'm full of sh!t opinions on this.
China practically collapses if the world diversifies manufacturing. But that sure changed after c-19 and Trump don't you think?

Do you think the medical industry benefited?

Are they still benefiting?
