Whatever the left’s likely belief is inasmuch as their prediction of the effect on Trump……..put your money on the opposite actually happening. The polar opposite.

It would lock down the primary for Trump and the general for Biden. These people are playing chess, we are not.

How is this not double jeopardy? Seriously, he's already dealt with this NON issue.

Double jeopardy is only for criminal prosecution at a specific level, meaning federal or state. Impeachment is a political process and not a criminal proceeding.

Remember how the establishment warned Trump repeatedly not to go after Hillary after the election? Democrats are pieces of shite.

So of all the federal agencies, he’s going to end up indicted by an opportunistic state prosecutor in NY and maybe in Ga too. These people will be the heroes of the left, the state version of Elliot Ness.

Double jeopardy? Was the charge of hush money addressed by another court in the past? If it was, it is double jeopardy, if the charges were the same. I don't remember any charges in the past, though.

So a New York DA arresting him over a misdemeanor??

Meanwhile DAs are letting real criminals walk free. Yeah that will back slap them in the face bigly

I wouldn't sleep on Trump fighting an indictment brought on by his opponent in a general election.

I don't think the country is going to stomach what appears to be a banana republic election. People are waking up to woke and realizing wtf is going on.

They're stupid enough to do this. It will backfire.

I think it benefits him tremendously because his attorneys can drag this out and make is a complete sham of a trial for a misdemeanor.

Regular folks will empathize with him for just how rigged our criminal justice system is because of deeply corrupt attorneys and judges.

Think about it. All Trump has to say is Biden has the power of the executive to make it go away in the "spirit of democracy."

Just like how we have to keep shoveling cash to Ukraine. You know, for the "spirit of democracy."
