but people are always bitching about why we do things alone instead of having a coalition of allies,
I'm not one FWIW. I don't give a shite what other countries think.

now we have two old allies involved with us this time and people like you want to bitch...
Yeah, I bitch because it is stupid. Getting involved in more middle east shite does nothing for us. Having "allies" involved doesn't change that.

Why can't people understand. It cannot go unchecked. Otherwise it will become rampant.

The other option is getting Americans killed just to create a power vacuum where another ISIS will take over

Completely against for multiple reasons.
1. Only congress can make war. The President should not be allowed to do anything militarily without first seeking congressional approval.
2. Billions of dollars wasted on something that has nothing to do with American security. These bombings do not protect 1 single American so why bother.
3. Once again America is involving itself in the business of another sovereign country.
4. What proof do we have that Assad did this. In my opinion this is another false flag offensive just like the Gulf of Tonkin incident.

Against. Oh and:

A hard statement for sure but one that absolutely needs to be made. Gas your citizens in order to control should never be an option on the table.
AND.... Countries need to understand that the US is no longer led by a pussy.

I'd bet good money that one of our Intel agency backed groups did the gassing and not Assad. Therefore we decide to help the Syrians out by bombing them.
So we help gas them then bomb them for us helping gas them. Sound logic.

Guessing I need to drink more to comprehend that logic. Any sources available for that or just your speculation on the topic?

Indifferent. Pros and cons of each side. If the intimidation tactic with these airstrikes succeeded in stopping whoever is gassing the people then the operation was worth it. It saves multiple innocent lives from a slow cruel painful death. If they keep gassing their people then I'm not sure what America's answer is. America can't afford to put boots on the ground there and get caught in another quagmire in the middle east.
