As glaciers are formed precipitation is locked up as snow and then ice. The accumulation of this ice to great thicknesses and across extensive areas just lowers sea level. There is not extra water in the rain cycle to raise the ocean.

it was about replacing R-12 so Dupont could cash in on their new refrigerant. And then another new one. When I was a teenager, I could charge my car with $1.00 can of R-12 from TG&Y (70s-80s Walmart). I bought a can of R134 for my son's car about 10 years ago and it was $28. This doesn't even take into account that everytime your home AC compressor shits the bed, you hafta upgrade to the new refrigerant du jour and vastly increased prices. Yet you never hear about the ozone hole anymore. Everyone got paid so the supposed problem magically went away. This gave the greenies the confidence to destroy the entire western standard of living with even more ridiculous policies. It was always about destroying the West from within and the useful idiots plus the greedy politicktians went right along lining their pockets while we suffered. Look at Germanys energy costs today. They have proper fricked themselves due to the rantings of idiots like the doom goblin
