Trump is absolutely clueless how to organize such a thing and now has lost the ability to get people behind anything he proposes. Trumpkins here do not understand how bad he has screwed up in regards to actually getting big things done.

So the lesson here is this: if We the People send a Reformer Outsider to the WH, the GOP Congress will obstruct, oppose him underhandedly and overtly, THEN blame the Newcomer for getting nothing done because he's an Outsider and doesn't know how The Swamp does business.

Do I have you pegged or not?

Don't blame the same Swamp Creatures that have been in Congress for decades, blame the New POTUS because he's, well, new AND he's not a part of the Swamp.

Do I have that about right, pilgrim?

what if their game is taking one for the uniparty team and lose the majority to take Trump out with the Impeachment votes? In the meantime they will Run Kasich or Rubio and the whole lot of losers for the win in 2020. And if they were to win (it will never happen) let the democrats run watershed over them, repeat Reince I mean rinse repeat rinse. It is their pattern...

Honestly. I've been saying for my whole adult life that this is what would happen if a 3rd party guy won.

Trump for all practical purposes was a 3rd party guy.

If Americans didn't have their heads so far up their asses............they might actually recognize what the frick is going on.

We'll see if the Trump support is wide enough to primary some Senators to get folks in who will work with him.

You just wonder if Trump will alienate enough folks with distracting social issues until then

Talent. Power. National Support.

By the way on Reagan, Kemp was a member of Congress as well Roth who got the ball rolling.

Yes he was and touted the water for Reagan on the tax cut. Every cabinet member was reminding Congressmen of their request to their departments. The White House smoozed and poked them.

It's going to be interesting to see how the media covers Trump backed Luther Strange going down to Roy Moore. Wouldn't really fit the definition of getting "primary'd" since Moore is basically an Alabama legend.

Why attack me ShortyRob?

Let's see if you don't like my position you must like Trumps---no bill and waiting for something from Congress.

How the heck do you people's mind work??? So you wouldn't want Trump to act like a leader and put a plan to Congress??

Weak, spineless establishment Republicans who are terrified of the media.

The "elite"Republicans are not bumbling fools. They are professional deceivers! They are brilliant criminals and have perfected their strategies so much so that we continue to wonder in amazement how they can be so stupid. They are not going against their donors. Period. Their donors give them money, power, and social status. They will not give up their fiefdoms gained in Washington. We conservatives are foolish to believe that their affectations of want of conservatism is real.

The "(main stream)" media game is rigged, they're going to demonize you no matter what you do. Ignore them.

So rigged by owners and their sycophants who despise Judeo Christian values.

No. Blame the outsider because he runs his mouth too much and has alienated the very people he needs to get done what he was elected to do---what he promised to do.

Nothing wrong with calling out the facts.

He has personally and publicly insulted enough members of Congress to insure he will never get something through. Not a single insult he has hurled was necessary or conducive to passing Trump's agenda. Child like crap.

It is official. The RNC would rather burn the country down rather than give an inch of power.

Him opening his mouth was on Congress???

How does that logic work???

If you need something from somebody or from a group of somebodies do you publicly insult them before bargaining?? Do you think you are going to get a better deal on a car if you tell the salesman he is idiot first?

What really made Reagan exceptional was his ability to go around congress to get things done. He went straight to the American people made his case to them and told them to call their congressmen and demand tax reform. He didn't wait for congress to act, he didn't wait for them to craft their own bill. He made it happen. I don't expect that we will see this kind of leadership from our current President.

Because there was an authenticity to Reagan that is lacking with Trump. Reagan made you feel calm because he was in control. Trump does not inspire that same calming confidence.

Sure. It might be nice if Trump put a plan forward.

But that doesn't excuse congress even 1%.

Giving congress a pass because you think Trump should've held their dicks for them is dumb.

No denying Reagan was great. But modern democrats are nothing like democrats in the 80s. While here may have been disagreements, they were at least rational back then. Their party is unhinged from reality today.
