Honestly I had no idea.
https://brusselssignal.eu/2026/01/exclusive-how-left-wing-ngos-emasculate-germanys-ruling-cdu/
While knowing that German conservatives are further left than Americans are, this is still shocking.
This is exactly like post Reagan pre Trump Republicans.
USAID funding as well no doubt.
Its amazing, the astroturfing by the left as if they are some powerhouse of public approval and disapproval.
Its the same as here. USAID, NGOs, paid protesters, urban elites...
It makes sense why Elon is so anti EU.

“In Germany, there is a clear centre-right electoral majority,” said Pauline Voss, deputy editor-in-chief of Nius.
“According to many accounts, the CDU and Alternative for Germany [AfD] together exceed 50 per cent of the vote, which could enable local or national co-operation to implement the will of the voters.
While knowing that German conservatives are further left than Americans are, this is still shocking.

“Yet every time the CDU opens the door to collaboration with the AfD, a powerful mobilisation by these left-leaning organisations is triggered. Many are state-funded NGOs, which, despite representing minority positions, organise mass protests to block the CDU,” Voss said.
“As a result, the CDU is intimidated and continues to form governments with left-wing parties, despite their weak election results.”
This is exactly like post Reagan pre Trump Republicans.

Voss, a former journalist at the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, has personally led numerous investigations into this NGO system, whose activities strongly influence the functioning of German democracy.
“It all began decades ago with the emergence of NGOs that received public funding to combat violent right-wing extremism,” she said.
USAID funding as well no doubt.
quote:
“Over time, this system expanded not only in terms of financing but also in content, targeting positions that were not extreme but simply non-leftist.”
The real turning point came under governments said to be conservative, such as those led by then-chancellor Angela Merkel, which, according to Voss, allowed their cultural policy to be dictated by their left-leaning minority allies.

It's amazing how NGOs are a threat to citizens everywhere.
The world is conquered.
The world is conquered.

The AfD party had something around 7 members mysteriously die within a 2 week period.

Seven members of Germany's far-right AfD party died in the weeks leading up to the September 14, 2025, local elections in North Rhine-Westphalia. This includes four candidates and three reserve or backup candidates.
The deaths occurred within a short timeframe—five within 13 days—sparking public speculation and conspiracy theories due to their unusual clustering. However, authorities and police investigations found no evidence of foul play, attributing the deaths to natural causes, pre-existing conditions, or suicide in one case.

Germany's average "conservative" is the equivalent of the average Canadian.

I didn't get the memo where I'm not allowed to speak of events that occurred.

You're free to add what specifically makes me look dumb for mentioning events that occurred. If you can't bring anything to the conversation, i invite you to keep your mouth shut.

As many as six candidates for Germany's far-right AfD have died in recent weeks ahead of local elections in the big western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Police have made clear there is no evidence of foul play in the deaths, but it means that new ballots will have to be printed and some postal voters will have to recast their ballots.
North Rhine-Westphalia has a population of 18 million and a reported 20,000 candidates will run for office in its 14 September local elections.
The number of deaths has nevertheless raised questions on social media. The state's interior ministry has pointed out that candidates from other parties, including the Greens and Social Democrats, have also died.
The AfD became Germany's second biggest party in February's federal elections, spreading from its eastern heartland to areas of the west too.
The domestic spy agency classified it as a right-wing extremist organisation in May, before placing a pause on that description due to an appeal pending in court. In three eastern states, its AfD associations are still listed as extremist.

The I'm just asking questions / do your own research crowd is bad at actually asking pertinent questions and doing their own research.
Germany has 2 elections, a local where you vote for individuals and a national where you vote for parties. The national election is the one that matters and determines the proportion of the Parliamentary body. Also the pols who died were mostly in areas with about a 0% chance of winning.
So at both the macro and micro levels, a conspiracy to kill these people makes no sense.
Further, the party itself came out and said there was no indication of foul play. At least one was a suicide and the others were older, sick people who died of expected illnesses.
So, other than dot connecting, what is your argument, exactly?
