Russia would be dumb not to have plans both offensively and defensively against NATO.
Just like NATO has plans for Russia which have always involved crossing Ukraine on the south.

Sounds like Germany needs some resources in the future and is wanting to drag the world into a war to get them. History being circular and all that...
I seriously doubt Russia, including Putin would want to start WW3 at this point. It would be suicidal. I don't think they are in any shape to start a large scale conflict seeing as they keep grinding men away in a game of attrition against Ukraine. At least with Ukraine they know they can win that way as they have more men. They won't be able to win with that strategy against a near or equal peer adversary.

This is very true and it's the only thing that scares me. Europe is weak and with the current state of our military, we cannot fight on 2 fronts (Russia and China) like we did in WWII. If the BRICS countries really want to take over the world this would be a good time to do it

Russia can't even put Ukraine away. You think the entire NATO couldn't smash them in short time? Now nuclear, and Russia would probably use it rather than lose a war, is a problem.
