Should be charged with more than just obstruction regarding that shooting. I think he was in on the assassination. He jumped up and took the blame almost immediately after the shot was fired. Probably part of the conspiracy to kill kirk. His role was taking the blame to distract the cops...and give the actual shooter time to escape the scene. And it worked.

That doesn’t make any sense. What conspirator enters the equation after the fact? I’ve never seen a scenario where one guy says to another how about you commit the crime and I’ll do the time.
That was a classic case of mob mentality. That guy just wanted to be included in the storyline and his first season instinct was to declare to be the gunman in the grassy knoll.

Bumping this because I haven't heard it talked about enough. Truly, you couldn't make up something this great.
Some stupid boomer pops up after the murder to say "I did it!", by his own admission, so that he gave the real perp more time to escape. (I guess this must be some let's relive the 60s nonense?)
And then: LE finds out he's got a massive stash of kiddie porn that he's going down for.
This is like FOMO leading to YOLO consummating with FAFO.

This can’t be overstated. That guy clearly misunderstood what the internet meant when it asked if he wanted a cookie.
If he was involved, I can’t imagine a scenario where TR didn’t say, “bro, promise me you’ll delete your download folder first.”
